During the current election campaign, very little attention has been given to the foreign-policy issues of the various parties. Voters are naturally more concerned about promises made (and broken) on the domestic front. Yet Canada's role in an increasingly volatile world will have repercussions at home with respect to issues of security and immigration. In particular, Canada's relations with the Muslim world will be key to its foreign policy.
