Makes me sad too. People seem to forget the NEP nearly killed Alberta, and oil exploration in general. So now, after 10 years of hard work and sacrifice, we've eliminated our defecit. Now that we have a little to put back into what was cut, every province wants to pick our pockets and raid the fridge. Even though we give the other provinces more per capita than any other, they still want more, and are willing to use the 'us' vs The BlueEyedArabs argument to justify it.
