Moderates Fear Revolt In Tory Party

Even if Conservative leader Stephen Harper emerges victorious in the election, some insiders suggest he could soon face a fight within his own party to deliver on his campaign promises.

Mr. Harper finds himself in a unique situation: he is fighting the election on a platform cobbled together by party officials, but which hasn't yet received the sanction of the membership and sidesteps some potentially troublesome issues.

right, so while these party members try to figure out what their party stands for, we are suppose to elect them anyway based on what we think they might stand for or against, but in fact it comes down to whatever Harper wants he'll get...oooohh think not Harper!

I've found the Tory party revolting since they swallowed my Reform. Since my MP is no longer my MP due to the new boundaries, I guess it's time for a change.<p><p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

I've got some more good news.

I did not catch the genleman's name, but he is a part of the CONS machine, and he flatly told Peter on CPAC last night, that in the event of a minority CONS victory, some Libs are willing to cross the floor and support the CONS.

That is not all that hard to believe, since some Libs are CONS in sheep's clothing.

I think this is what happened in the states. There's a plan, I feel it. Put a few "controllers" in all the parties so that no matter who gets in the people wanting Canada will get it no matter how the election goes. We may all be just spinning our collective training wheels and being laughed at in board rooms across North America.
