"Devastating" Moyers Probe Of Press And Iraq Coming

Posted on Sunday, April 22 at 16:34 by 4Canada
Among the few heroes of this devastating film are reporters with the Knight Ridder/McClatchy bureau in D.C. Tragically late, Walter Isaacson, who headed CNN, observes, "The people at Knight Ridder were calling the colonels and the lieutenants and the people in the CIA and finding out, you know, that the intelligence is not very good. We should've all been doing that." At the close, Moyers mentions some of the chief proponents of the war who refused to speak to him for this program, including Thomas Friedman, Bill Kristol, Roger Ailes, Charles Krauthammer, Judith Miller, and William Safire. http://www.mediainfo.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003574260 [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on April 23, 2007]

If they cover Bill O'Reiley and Fox News, it will be worth watching, otherwise, no point.

They should also include a comparison of the overwhelming support for the Vietnam War the Government enjoyed for the first years of the war. Walter Cronkite for example was a staunch supporter, gleefully gushing about VC body counts and US victories for years. He also was never brought to trial for his lies and propaganda.

"The most powerful indictment of the news media for falling down in its duties"

The news media did NOT fall down in its duties, it in fact stood up and rose to the occasion. That's the problem, far too many people THINK that for profit corporations run by insiders and thieves have any duty to inform and tell the truth.

Has the world become blind? The shell game is not that well played and yet the obvious is being overlooked. While we all exchange veiws on the turmoil in the middle east, the rest of the world is being populated by the newest and best American arms. Throughout the planet the USA is constructing "defence systems" against the "terrorists". Only Russia and China appear to see the light. We couldn't understand the reason Bush was so adamant about chasing the terrorists from Afghanistan and entering Iraq. The strategy is before us and yet we don't see it. The planning must have been intricate. The USA had to come up with a reason or justification to so heavily arm themselves. They had to have an understandable conception that would allow people see the Trojan Horse and not complain about the armed men coming from within. TERRORISTS! Defend the world against terrorists and no one will complain about the elite army on their soil. As long as the "wars" continue, the longer the time there is to administer a world dominating military. $100 billion more to engage Iraq?

What's this? Mainstream Media failed in upholding
democracy? Shocking stuff! It's in the business of
making money, not in the business of being credible
    and truthful.

As long as people continue to watch that crap, the
media will continue to lie to them.

As it turns out, the entire plan has been on-line for anyone to see, including the Chinese and Russians. The plan even includes the requirement for a "new Pearl Harbor" attack which was drafted up about 2 years before the 9/11 false-flag attacks.

It's all laid out right here, in plain sight for even the Chinese and Russians to ponder about:
The people behind the scheme are about as dumb as shit bricks, but the people who should be rising up against them are even dumber than that.
Would this referance be any differance to those running our countries now. Good find! We are drowning and it don't seem to be bothering anyone what will happen when we want to breath.
