One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten. Deep Breath. Mr. Cellucci, all Canada needs is a catapult to send you flying. """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""4Canada Toronto Star, Feb. 08, 2005 CANADIAN PRESS QUEBEC — Canada's tardy military response to the tsunami disaster in Asia illustrates gaping holes in the country's armed forces, outgoing U.S. ambassador Paul Cellucci said today. As Canada's Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) prepares to return from Sri Lanka later this month, Cellucci appealed to the Canadian public's appetite for a humanitarian role in the world, saying a strong military would help. "The inability to get troops where they're needed quickly, (the DART) brought that to light again," Cellucci told reporters following a discussion with university students in Quebec City. "It was very helpful to get the DART team over there, but they were over there two weeks after the tragedy took place. "Wouldn't it have been nice if Canada could have been out in Asia a day after, or two days after that tsunami hit? That would have been an important role for Canada to play." full Article: http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1107989411808&call_pageid=968332188492&col=968705899037&DPL=IvsNDS%2f7ChAX&tacodalogin=yes

He just doesn't know how to shut his mouth does he? How much money has Canada put towards helping those in Asia? The man needs to be sent home before his post ends.

He's just pushing that overpriced, unreliable Boeing C-17 Globemaster hunk of junk on us.

Ah, Cellucci. Man, will I miss him when he goes home. He's been the best American ambassador ever.

Pretty good eh? I got that far before I started giggling maniacally. We should have a celebration when he leaves...maybe burn him in effigy.

Why do some Canadians get so defensive when an American points out our obvious deficiencies? Instead of attacking him, perhaps Canadians should learn how to defend their ideals - a weak nation being one of those ideals. This is the Canada people vote for, why not answer for it?

Would America like our Ambassador in the news every week telling them how to conduct their affairs? Look up the definition of 'ambassador' for details.

I see our Quebec separatist troll is back.

Putting aside the fact that nobody in Canada respects what he has to say and that he doesn't know his place as an ambassador, as it turns out he was totally wrong about DART. The social agencies who are on the ground there have stated that DART was an absolute waste of resources and that the things they are doing could have and were being done better without the DART and that it would have been better letting them have the millions spent sending DART.
