Are you sure 'Banned' is the word you want to use? No one has prevented anyone from putting on a performance of this play.

Perhaps it's not being shown is the same reason I won't rent 'Snakes on A Plane'.

From the link in your article:

"It didn’t seem as powerful on the stage as it did on the page,” said artistic producer Martin Bragg after seeing the production at Gotham’s Minetta Lane Theater."

Aw Doc, don't be too quick to judge, "Snakes on a Plane" might be a good un.

    HISSSS...RATTLE.....EEEEYYIKES......CRUNCH....HISSSSSSSSS

Whack of passengers and a load of snakes. It might be good. If yer feeling downtrodden, imagine the snakes are globalists and the passengers everyone else If you're feeling a bit more peasant in revolt, you can pretend that the first passenger to feed the snakes is GWB or Dick Cheney and coax the Python to squeeze harder while you throw a little popcorn at the screen......

Naw, when I heard the title, I figured it contained the entire plot. Hmmm, angry reptiles. At high altitude. Hmmmmm. Turn down the heat . . .snakesicles!

    Anything beyond that is insulting.

To assume that this play isn't being shown because it lacks any semblance of a plot, is too.
