Canada Seeks To Retaliate Against $4.1B In U.S. Imports

TORONTO - Canada is planning to ask the World Trade Organization next Monday for the authority to impose duties against U.S. imports worth $4.1 billion because the United States has not complied with WTO rulings on lumber exports from Canada.     Although I know it won't happen, I'm hoping they target American movies, magazines, and television. I'm also hoping, because these areas aren't covered by NAFTA, that they stay long after the border has been re-opened on the softwood lumber issue.
