"It's not going to cost us anything, the Americans are going to do it anyway, I don't think that that's a tough decision," said Manley. "I think that we should simply agree with it."

Manley voiced similar views during the Liberal leadership race, but Martin has skated cautiously on the question, conscious of a deep split among Liberal MPs.

NO! If we don't do it somebody else will is what happens when a mentally lazy person tries to set up a scam. Tell the US administration to keep their nukes to themselves, we don't want to play.

Agreed Milton, I guess we are very lucky he dropped out of the Liberal leadership race, but alas it seems he is lying in wait to take over when Martin falls...scary fellow this Manley mystery! His statement that it won't cost us anything so why not do it...is juvenile at best; what will it cost us to be drawn into future wars? What will it cost the entire human race? I never heard of anything so stupid there are plenty of things that won't cost me anything but I still wouldn't do it, just because it is wrong!

Why don't Mulroney and Manley just shut up and go away. One woman wrote the Globe and Mail asking for a warning when the paper was going to headline Mulroney so she could stop delivery. Why are these two given any airtime? Who wants them or their wanna be in the public eye advice anyway? I don't see Manley ever becoming PM.

Bill Graham was interviewed by Don Neuman on Politics about signing on to Missle Defence and Don asked Graham how can we sign on to this and then a few years down the road there's something else and we're farther and farther into NORAD and then the US is weaponizing space how do you then back out without repercussions like the ones we faced over Iraq? Graham said we just have to make our position clear at all times. What a complete waste of Canadian taxpayers money his salary has proven to be.
