Is Canada Worth Saving? Do we need to ask ourselves, from what? As the horizon clears, and the issues become clearer, we find ourselves questioning is the fight worth it? Anyone wondering, really should look into the eyes of a child, the future and ask yourself, is it worth it? I have been reading some essays from Canadian Action Party's website, from young Canadians on the question, 'Is Canada Worth Saving?', if I needed something to inspire me, this is it and if you need to remember what we are fighting for, please go read thoughts from our future generation. http://www.canadianactionparty.ca/MainPages/cwsEssays.asp?Language=English

I was just going to post this on a thread, and actually tried but for some reason it didn't take, or if it did I can't see it. Then I thought about everyone saying there is not enough good news! This is good news, these young people have done their research and have written excellent essays to not only support what we are fighting for, but also why. This is good news for us!

Great idea, but where are they going to get their fast food from? The young are more caught up in the consumer craze than their parents.
How does anyone think the young are going to save this country?

Spud, are you part of the solution? If so you have to stop looking at the glass as half empty...it is three quarters full, the only thing missing is the quarter off the top, and they are the ones putting in the least amount of effort and getting maximum returns. The youth are the future, whether you like it or not, the question is, can we instill enough patriotism in them to help them to save this country. Those essays are a clear indiction that many of them are thinking outside the box, it is we the people who embraced fast food in the first place that should take responsibility for their dependance on it.

If we didn't see it before, that is too bad, but we see it now, so let's get moving and stop saying it is over, when it isn't over, there is hope as long as we have people thinking. Also if you read CAP's info they are addressing everything that most of us have been complaining about, we just need to believe enough and lose our fear and go forward.

Yeah, Spud, it was worse back in the 60's. We activists were a tiny minority. People (esp. the young) are more aware these days. Don't get discouraged!

That is the scary part Dave.Resisting and dying are easy. But unfortunatly, both require violence. And I get a very sinking feeling whats coming is going to make places like Stalingrad look like childs play. But like I said awhile back on another post, can the elite take the same violence that they are unleashing?
    I can be E-X-T-R-E-M-E :)

    Yes Canada is worth saving.
But,those who are destroying it have to go.
