Although I rarely pay much attention to polls, this one I believe, to a point, I actually think that the percentage should be higher in favor of public health. All the media coverage I have heard, speakers from the U.S. in various interviews, have been in favor and holding Canada up as an example of a great system. It is only OUR politicians that would try to dismantle something so fabulous, effective and fair.

    Odd isnt it?

We have amercanizers here in Canada that want us to have an american system but in the face of evidence like this (and the total disregard to the increased costs of a private system), they still toil and muss and try to convince the non-thinkers that they are right and everyone else is wrong.

One must ask - what is in it for them that they want it so bad?
