Harper Questions Why Observation Post Was Manned

Posted on Friday, July 28 at 09:39 by ronyeung

So, my answer to Stephen Harper: the observation post is there to observe the conflict.

Without people manning the post, there is no one to make observations. If observation posts are evacuated as soon as a fighting starts, the observation post does no good.

The greatest value of that observation post to the UN, and to the world in general, is when something is happening for the observation post to observe.

We might as well move all the observation posts to Northern Canada if we want them to be safe. They'll do just as good a job as an empty one sitting between Isreal and Lebanon.

Any time you place people between two groups of fighting people, you risk casualties. We should remember that despite the risk, the people in the UN observation post remained, unarmed, to do their duty. In doing their job, they showed their belief that the UN, and more importantly, 4 unarmed people sitting between two armies, can make a difference.

I mourn the deaths of those in the observation post, as well as all who have been injured or killed in wars. I sometimes wish I had the courage to go there myself, sit down between the two armies, and cry and plead for people to stop. I don't know if I believe it would make a difference. Which makes me so much more amazed at those people who do make a difference. And one day maybe from their example I can do something to make a difference as well.

I want to know why Stephen Harper isn't supporting Canadian troops who are serving in a peacekeeping capacity with the UN.

In answer to your question, Reverend, my best guess is that there is no direct benefit to Stephen Harper in doing so.

If he is as "conservative" as Bush, his only interest is in himself and supporting UN Observers in the Middle East (and possibly pissing off his future benefactors) wouldn't be in his "best interest".

    Cynical, yes. Correct, possibly.

    Hope it helps.

Once again our puppet leader is playing dumb. I find these attack so convenient considering UNIFIL had only been extended until July 31. Maybe the powers that be wanted to make sure another extension was not put in place.
It's official - Canada has a simple minded moron for a Prime Minister. Thanks to him, Canada has once again sunk to third world status when it comes to the country's reputation.

Repeat after me everyone, and say it often - Harper is poodle jr. Let's make sure when the next election comes around that all Canadians have heard that term. It has deservedly worked on Blair, and it will work on Harper.

    Bush - poodle master
    Blair - poodle sr
    Harper - poodle jr

Hey, I see no need to insult a fine breed of dog.

I had a toy poodle when I was a kid and she was a damn fine dog.

I think that given the Bushes aversion to anything that would shed light on their activities, it would be exceedingly more accurate to call them cockroaches than poodles, or any other breed of dog for that matter.

Dog are our friends, Bushes are not. :P

There is a firmly entrenched belief system that anything the political elite seem to create is hunky-dory. I say seem to because in reality it is those behind the puppets we are brain dirtied to believe in who create orgs like the UN for the faithful to bow down to.
“The United Nations
Hailed as the means by which the World would achieve peace, the United Nations (UN) is the focal point for both the Globalists, and for Nationalist movements within each and every country. When Communist Alger Hiss joined forces with Fascist John Dulles to create the UN, everyone should realize something is wrong. G. Edward Griffin is worth mentioning as a primary source of information about the UN. Best known for his blistering expose of the Federal Reserve called The Creature From Jekyll Island, Griffin’s other masterpiece glaringly documents the Globalist implementation of the UN as the reigning body of the New World Order. This other, lesser known but equally important book, Fearful Master: A Second Look at the United Nations, is a tour de force of facts concerning the global body.
Griffin begins by relaying the massacre of old men, women, and children in Katanga, Africa by UN forces. Many people were surprised that a UN police force that was supposed to bring peace would ultimately dole out death. This surprise, Griffin writes, only happened to those who do not know the History of the United Nations. Griffin: “The first rough sketches for this blueprint were drawn up by Nicolai Lenin. Stalin laid down five intermediate goals… 2. Bring all nations together into a single world system of economy… In 1928 and again in 1936 the Communist International formally presented a three-stage plan for achieving world government.” These included the socializing of all countries, creating regional groupings, and then bring the regional groupings into the one world system. Incidentally, there is now a European Union, African Union, and soon an American Union under the name of Free Trade Area of the Americas. “
Many American conservatives believe as a matter of faith that the Rockefellers and the Council on Foreign Relations exercise absolute control over the government and the people of United States . This thesis can be accepted as a working formula if one remains conscious of the larger issues . Two writers for whom the present writer has great respect, Dr. Emanuel Josephson and Morris Bealle, insisted on focusing on the Rockefellers and excluding all other aspects of the World Order . This severely limited the effect of their otherwise ground breaking work on the Medical Monopoly.
This writer advanced a contrary view in ``The World Order,'' fixing upon the Rothschild monetary power, which reached a point of world control by 1885, and its London policy group, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, as the policy makers for what has essentially been since 1900, re-established colonial government in the United States. The colonial, or occupation, government, functions primarily through the Council on Foreign Relations, but only as the subsidiary of RIIA and through the Rockefeller Foundation which controls government functions, the educational establishments, the media, the religions and the state legislatures.
It is true that the American colonials have ``free elections,'' in which they have the absolute right to vote for one of two opposing candidates, both of whom have been handpicked and financed by the Rockefeller syndicate. This touching evidence of ``democracy'' serves to convince most Americana that we are indeed a free people. We even have a cracked Liberty Bell in Philadelphia to prove it. American youth have been free since 1900 to be marched off to die in Hegelian wars in which both combatants received their instructions from the World Order. We are free to invest in a stock market in which the daily quantity, price and value of the monetary unit is manipulated and controlled by a Federal Reserve System which is answerable only to the Bank of England. It has maintained its vaunted ``independence'' from our government's control, but this is the only independence it has ever had.
"Who hired this guy?" But then I remembered that we, as voters, hired Stephen Harper. We have no one to blame but ourselves."

I sure as hell did NOT vote for Harper, and neither did 76.4% of all eligible voters!!!!!!!!!

I have NOTHING to feel bad about and I DON'T blame myself, neither should the overwhelmingly VAST majority of Canadians who did not vote for Harper.

    The math:

64.9% of eligible voters selected NOTA (The None of the Above Party).

Normalizing the voter percentages per party AFTER taking NOTA into consideration, we get the following:

    NOTA = 35.1%
    CON 36.3 x .649 = 23.6
    LIB 30.2 x .649 = 19.6
    BQ 10.5 x .649 = 6.8
    NDP 17.5 x .649 = 11.4
    IND 0.5 x .649 = 0.32
    GRN 4.5 x .649 = 2.9
    -------------------------

    100 - 23.6 = 76.4% voted AGAINST Harper!

If anything with my math or conclusions are wrong, please let me know - thanks.

    Ooops, a correction

"64.9% of eligible voters selected NOTA (The None of the Above Party)."

    Should read

"35.1% of eligible voters selected NOTA (The None of the Above Party)."

There was a 64.9% voter turn out, so only 35.1% voted for NOTA.
