"I understand that there is a lot of distrust for the Canadian authorities concerning Muslims and it is fair criticism, but believe as you wish, these people that they talk about [meaning youths that hate] exist in our communities and it is our own fault," he wrote.

Yes, and the world was created 7,000 years ago, and women were born with the "original sin", so they must cover themselves in shame and go through the holy ritual of female circumcision to atone for the sin of Eve and for being born female...........

It did not say he is connected to the 17 men, it said "Muhammad Robert Heft, a Canadian convert to Islam, said he was given a copy of the video by Fahim Ahmed, one of 17 people arrested on June 2."

It doesn't even specify how well they know each other or whether Heft only met Ahmed on the street.

"Heft's allegation that he obtained the video from Ahmed fits with a synopsis of the prosecution's case obtained by CBC News. The synopsis also alleges that Ahmed handed out copies of a video glorifying jihad."

It sounds more like Heft is helping CBC news and the prosecution. I think we really need to read the whole article before doing the jaded "rolling our eyes" routine.

From the article (this thread subject):

He said he knew six of the terror suspects arrested on June 2, including alleged ringleader Fahim Ahmad, who, he said, openly distributed DVDs glorifying the 9/11 hijackers at Scarborough's Salaheddin mosque.

"He has the same grievances I have, if you define the grievances as the Muslims have been mistreated in many parts of the world. But we have a completely different understanding of how to solve the problem," he said.

Looks to me that Heft is indeed connected with the 17 terrorists, in that he knows who they are enough to speak about how they are thinking. Heft claims to have been an "extremist" but refuses to say who recruited him. Was Heft recruited by the same extremist that recruited (or inspired) the 17? Heft is also a "white man" with no cultural heritage associated with Muslims. I mention this because Heft has been in contact with CSIS - is Heft just another one of their spies?

Ed Deak. These things are part either of Christianity or of Judaism, not of Islam.

...Heft is also a "white man" with no cultural heritage associated with Muslims...
It's probably true that as a convert he has no direct cultural heritage associated with Islam, although the full extent of the cultural interpenetration and underpining of the Western Tradition by Islam is grossly understated, but to suggest that Muslims are only "brown" or "black" is not born out by the tens of millions of ethnically European Muslims from Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Belorus, Bosnia, Macedonia, Albania, let alone the tens of millions of obviously "white" Muslims from Turkey, Syria, or Lebanon. And then there're the hundreds of millions of Chinese Muslims...

The funny thing is that when you read the propaganda pumped out through the MSM, the impression you get is that just about all Muslim's, and especially those who are "extremists" and "terrorists", are exclusively from the Middle East.

The "War on Terror" is not officially targeting the Chinese, Africa, Europe, or Canada for that matter. Why is this so?

(In reality, every country is getting screwed by the WoT).
