For more information or to book a seat on one of our buses, please contact us: E-mail: stopthewar@sympatico.ca Phone: 416-795-5863 Because this will be Bush's first trip outside the U.S. since his election, it will be important for us to build the biggest possible mobilisation to show our opposition in Canada. We want to send a message of support to the people of Iraq and all oppressed people around the world: we stand in solidarity with you. And to our sisters and brothers in the American anti-war movement: the world still says no to the Bush agenda. Visit: http://www.nowar.ca/

I applaud the Canadians! We couldn't stop Bush. Maybe you can. I looked at your activist site. Maybe we have things like this in America. But their voice is not heard.

I live a few hours away from Ottawa, so I think I will burn a few fumes to see if I can jump in front of his limo and then sue his ass off. Unless the tires get me first !

If you don't hear from me, I guess it worked, EH ??

Anybody thinking of protesting in Ottawa need not worry about looking for organizations. I saw a news report and there were protests planned for virtually all over downtown Ottawa. It's a five hour drive from here but I'm pretty sure I'm making the trek. My wife has to work though, somebody needs to pay the bail:)

    Bail !!

    Nice touch !

    See you in there.

Man this is when I feel the most alienated from the rest of Canada.

I want to be there. I'm begging anyone, someone, to carry a sign for me that has a bag of pretzels attatched saying "Mr. President, can I offer you a pretzel"? I think it would be great if the entire crowd had one of those and nothing else. For a no-mind like Bush that is one statement I don't think he could misinterpret. All the "No War For Oil" , "No Missile Defence" seem to be affirmations to him rather than protest.

Will do. If you see a crazy woman in a canary colored coat carrying a pretzel sign, you'll know it's michou. :-)
---
« Il y a une belle, une terrible rationalité dans la décision d'être libre. » - Gérard Bergeron
4Canada, I'll be thinking of you and all others that can't make the trip, when the limo goes by.

    You'll be there in spirit.

    Michou,

That's exactly how I would have wanted to look. I love you, thanks.

    Jim,

We are all connected that way aren't we? I love you too. Can I expect a crazy looking man in a yellow coat with pretzel sign?

    Not sure about the coat.

Word is he's coming to Halifax too. Maybe someone reminded him where so many of those planes went on 9/11?
(Wouldn't it be funny if he spoke at the World Trade Centre? It'd strip a few more of his gears..."Dude, I thought we blew that up!")

    Michou,

Could you have someone take pictures? And then post them on the Internet. You know, a picture is worth a thousand words.
