And Mr. Bernier spoke well of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America saying: The necessity of cultivating alliances to achieve prosperity is also true when it comes to security. Or the tens of millions of Americans, who are now in minimum wage part time jobs.
Or the millions who die of starvation and preventable illnesses every year, because their subsistence has been concfiscated to serve multinationals.
Or the tens of thousands of Asian farmers who have already committed suicide, over the loss of their families' lands, especially in India.
I sometimes have to wonder, whether these people really believe in this garbage, or just repeat it, because they're paid for it?
In any case, every competitive system raises costs, must burn out and self destruct. Haven't these fools figured this simple out fact yet?
The secret of prosperity and sustainability is not competition, but cooperation. Our neighbours and ourselves are doing OK, because we have strong fences we keep in good repair and when needed, we help each other, we buy from and sell to each other, but we never interfere in each others' business.
The same simple rule applies to communities and nations. Now tell this to a brainwashed economist, or so called conservative.
