The True Massacre Is The One We Are Living

Tens of thousands of innocent people have been killed, and are being killed as you read this, in Iraq. Three thousand people were murdered in cold blood, on US soil, on 9/11. All of this blood is on Bush-Cheney’s hands. Then there are the many deadly and growing societal afflictions that have helped fuel a culture of hatred: a corporate media that glorifies violence, killing and war, The Sopranos, Quentin Tarantino, and TV shows such as 24; corporate interests that profit from everything from weapons (the “defense” industry) to murder-spree video games that are the daily addiction of children. This, too, is Bush-Cheney’s American dystopia, made possible by the fine example set by what is a mafia by every definition. http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_1979.shtml

    “…sneering contempt…”

I am tempted to say “Ya Ya, Whatever!” quite sneeringly myself.
    “Why?” you may ask.
“Because”, sez I “We in the Western Democracies take no care in how we have gootn the way we are and less care in who we elect or their history and who they are and who they are in cahoots with.”

When societies largely suspicious of politicians trance like constantly repeat crimes against themselves with every election and then go on blaming the elected but do nothing to either remove the elected from office or correct a flawed system how else can those who do see be expected to re-act other than with distain?

I see no sign of the bravery required to throw off the self forged chains that bind an “us” to the “them”
Other than do what I have been doing, which is to give a heads up[ and offer some suggestions or willingly offer my support, as I have done on these pages as recently as a few days ago, what is left, anybody?
