2. Mexico has a permanent trade deficit. The myth of Mexico as an export giant evaporates when we consider that, next to the surplus with the US, there is a booming trade deficit with Asia and Europe which increased by 600% and 400% respectively since 1994, when NAFTA was enacted.

The Americans are getting the message, NAFTA and the FTA, never mind the coming FTAA and GATS, is not working and will not work for any of the countries that signed it.

We have to get a party in power that will abrogate NAFTA, and we don\'t have one on the horizon. The Liberals, Conservatives nor the NDP will do it.

There is no other party out there that has the votes to get the job done. We are trapped !!

    Any suggestions ??

three thoughts, seperate but somewhat related.

The economy is becoming more and more structured. The trade agreements are designed to ensure access to markets, or rather, ensure profits. The best way to fight, imo, is to develop grey market contacts. This might be hard to do because of the \'terrorist\' label. Doing something like barter, these days, is a revolutionary act. You can never be certain that you won\'t be \'outed\' by a television crazed do-gooder squeeler. Then be marched in front of the pusher media as a menance to society. All the major networds have a trunk full of hillbilly hats, toothpicks, patched clothing and gold bangle props ready for use whenever the on-location interview is called for in the script.

The biggest reason for offshoring of jobs is because of the jackboot imposition of structured capitalism. North America is facing economic debilitating deflation but the economic elites won\'t say so, not until they have imposed the necessary processes to control the people. Everyone is being made to suffer for the actions of a few american elites who went on a malinvestment crazed obsession in the latter part of the 1990\'s. So far the biggest scapegoat are the Arabs, and the French. Now they are focusing on the French Canadians, with a nod to the independant small cattle farmer in the grasslands of Alberta.

In order to officially and legally pass on the states debts to individuals, they will first offer people \'free credit\'. Then they will wait while you use this credit for medical services or food or shelter. Business will be set up by the fiat currency whoring elite to sap the people\'s wealth surreptitiously. Of course, the dual passport holders will be allowed to leave the country after exhausting their \'credit\' and the bill is stuck to the rest of us.
oh shiet, i just realised something. This scenario mentioned above isn\'t going to happen.... it already has! lol, silly me.

Yeah, I think it`s rather funny how the poultry industry is being attacked with this chicken flu thing. Oh, you`re not going to believe this. News flash: Bush, Pope are (seriously) up for the Nobel peace prize! What sort of person on some sort of airplane glue would nominate Bush for the Nobel peace prize? Am I really alive here? What the hell`s going on? Maybe they`re spiking my V8`s and I hallucinated that. Nope, there it is again, on the CTV news. BUSH,POPE nominated for nobel peace prize! What`s next? Hitler, Stalin nominated for lifetime achievement award? Next they`ll appoint Clifford Olson head of Family and Children`s Services. WHAT PLANET AM I ON? Iknow, i`m in one of those \'parallel\' universes. Damn that Stephen Hawking. I want out of this universe, and into the one where Canada is the superpower spreading only peace and goodwill!

N is for Not, A is just A, F is for F*#@%?!, T is for Thing and A is for Around, and F is for F*&%, T is for Them and A is for All.

But seriously folks the father of the Canadian end of the NAFTA agreement was Brian Mulroney, where is he now that he's done selling us into the slavery of the USA. That's right he's been working for them all along. He was their guy put into power by their sponsorship and sent in to do the job on us.

We need to get out of NAFTA and the GAT and every other globalization mechanism and be a free and soveriegn people and nation. We have for too long sold off our resource for pennies of their worth because of our establishment's links to the USA and it's New World Order.

And if you think Paul Martin is any different think again. We need a leader with a vision, someone who will release us from these chains and give us back our country. But in order for that to happen we need to reform our government and it's institutions. I know I must be dreaming, but I would rather dream than live in this reality!

Regards Tom email: tom@thegoose.info

Agreed, but who is behind the new thinking, Stronach\'s supporter Mulroney(so he never really went away), Stronach is also getting advice from Clinton; so they have not quite succeeded and intend to finish the job next election. Who is behind Martin, some say corporations hailing from the U.S.? It is time that the people behind Canadian politicians are Canadians, the people, not corporation, not unions and not U.S. spin doctors!!!
