One of the men on the show talking about the "Bluenose" was Silver Donald Cameron. Remember him? He's responsible for me finding Vive in the first place. His amazing letter to Paul Cellucci about Canada not goint to war with Iraq was on another website I frequent and Vive was linked to it, so I looked at the link. I'm glad I looked at Vive and I'm equally glad I looked at the "Canadian Experience".

I\'ll have to check out Canadian Experience.
And I can\'t believe no one has mentioned Rick Mercer\'s new Monday Report yet! It\'s great!

I agree. I started watching \"Canada\'s A People History\", I\'m on volume 3 and still many to go. So far I can say that these documentaries of Canada are very interesting. I wish that this video would be shown in all schools today.

I\'m sorry if I was so vague. The Canadian Experience is the name of a new CBC series about Canada. The first one aired last night and it was called \"The Queen and the Skipper: The story of Bluenose. (It will air again on Feb.26 by the way-I highly recommend it) One of the men on the show is a man called Silver Donald Cameron and I remembered him from a letter Vive posted by him to Paul Cellucci. It was so moving I printed it and filed it as one of my own favorites.
The next Canadian Experience in the series is called \"Talking Canadian\". It explores the ways in which we speak English differently than other english speaking countries. The preview looked comical.
His wife told me one day that he never drank, until the Arrow was cancelled.
He died from alcohol abuse 5 years after the project was shut down.
I know how you feel, it was a turning point in our history.
