Bush 'doesn't Care About Black People,'- Censored!

The show, simulcast from New York on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC and Pax, was aired live to the East Coast, enabling the Grammy-winning rapper's outburst to go out uncensored. There was a several-second tape delay, but the person in charge "was instructed to listen for a curse word, and didn't realize (West) had gone off-script," said NBC spokeswoman Rebecca Marks. West's comment about the president was cut from NBC's West Coast airing, which showed three hours later on tape. http://www.mytelus.com/news/article.do?pageID=news_home&articleID=2021355 [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on September 5, 2005]

This story really surprises me...ha ha but seriously, isn't that what the last few days has shown the world, not just the black people, the poor, the sick, I mean it isn't like it was just denying aid to the black people? Or is it not denying it when people are told to go to place A and when they arrive their is not a drop of water, food, medicine or order? When Washington is having press conference after press conference saying how much money is being spent, how many troops have been sent, and all this help is on the way or already there, and the mayor of the city is saying that is b.s. and stop the press conference, and fix this mess, you really have to say spin has been stopped in its tracks!

Why would the military be turning people back when they were trying to get out of the zone? Why did it take 5 days to get help to these people? Why didn't they have buses to get them out of the city before the storm?

There are so many questions and the world is definitely watching, and this one quote is one of many, many quotes saying the same thing. The facts speak for themselves and they are horrific, the storm was bad enough but the aid plan was perhaps even worse! So the question is , why can't you say that on national t.v.?

"Why can't you say that on naitonal tv?" Exactly. He looked so nervous to say it too and Mike Myers looked like he didn't know whether to shit, go blind, stick his finger up his nose, or cough up a hunk of phlegm standing there next to him. But I'm glad he came out and said it. Someone has to start speaking up. The mayor also said that money and support for Bush's war on Iraq was given to him by Congress "lickety quick" (his words) and yet for New Orleans - nothing. They could have been airdropping food and water in the time it took to fly a helecopter there.

Wow crank up the smear machine. Everything this rapper has ever done is going to be common knowledge in the next two weeks as the rightwing attack dogs are set loose.

Did the US federal government do so poorly in their response because they hate black people or because they are incompetent? The second choice is easy to prove, and is more likely the case.

Impeach Bush and his entire working government. Get rid of the lot of them. If they were truly running the ownership society they claim to uphold, then the people are going to fire you George. If a CEO missed the beat this many times they would be long gone, and you are the CEO of America. Pink slip is in your breast pocket George. It says you’re fired for gross incompetence and inability to get the job done. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

One last thing - look for the rightwing media to go out of their way to pin blame on the mayor of New Orleans - democrat and minority… easy pickings these days.

Black people actually appear to be the most racist in their response to the hurricane, pointing their fingers at anybody white who is not doing something fast enough for them.

The scale of this disaster is unprecedented, insofar as refugees from a natural disaster go, the refugees from this natural disaster are the luckiest on the planet.

The Bush administration has done more for black people in the US and around the world than the Clinton administration or any previous US government, that's the fact that really annoys liberals.

"The Bush administration has done more for black people in the US and around the world than the Clinton administration or any previous US government, that's the fact that really annoys liberals."

That's rather hard to prove I would suggest and the other thing I'd like to remind you is that Satan was an angel too but that's a fact I'm sure you and Bush would like us all to forget.

Pagan savage blacks attack and loot, rape and kill their own in New Mogadishu, Louisianna.
President Bush sends in troops to quell the savages.

    God Bless President Bush.
    God Bless America.

You need to take 12 steps to the nearest AA meeting because your love of free beer has obviously killed enough brain cells that you are no longer capable of intelligent thought and has rendered you a menace to society.

Hard to prove? - here's just one example - $15 Billion to fight the AIDS scourge in Africa, that's about 100 times what Canada is doing on a per-capita basis! And more than 15 times what Slick Willie did for Africa. Get real.

I'm so glad that Kanye had the guts to say what is on every black persons mind. When the tragedy first appeared every news channel played the exact same footage of 'black people' looting and shooting. While on TV, 'white' people had heroic stories, which painted a nice picture of the race. I'm sad to say that racism in America is alive and well and this travesty has made it all to apparent.
No station has even replied to the comments made by Kanye, which proves that his observations are very accurate.
If the flood were to occur in a mostly 'white' dominated state like Florida the outcome would be much different.
I'm not a racist but, I do think that a lot of people in the white house are (including the president himself).

Cut the bullshit American never sent more than two red cents to assist in the Aids mess in Africa. It all about numbers and for every dollar mention as an aid dollar, by the time that buck has passed through all the bureaucrats handsm it worth about 5 American pennies or 2 Canadian cents.

The real money never gets to the people that need it. I gave up making donation after learning about all of the property the Red Cross has around the world and all of the money that goes into the pockets of senior HMO hands.

I would be willing to bet that more middlemen will get more of those dollars being donated for the victims of Ketrina, you just watch. The poorest of the poor and the working class who took the hit from the storm should not expect to much, because the first to draw from the donations will be the ones who are employed to collect.

Anytime somebody starts quoting numbers you had better do some research to find out what's the real story behind the numbers. First of all the $15bn for "Aids" quoted by Anonymous above is for the next 5 years. It covers 15 countries, 12 of which are in Africa. This is from a recent report by the Brookings Institute. The Brookings report also stated that the White House claim of a tripling of US aid to Africa from 2000 to 2004 was greatly exaggerated. The report claimed the actual increase was more like 56%. Usually there are all sorts of conditions attached to any foreign aid which seem to give the donor country lots of excuses to cut back at any time.
Unfortunately Canada, like the US, is way behind the commitment of 0.7% of Gross National Income going to foreign aid. I understand Mike Pearson was the one who initially proposed this figure to the UN.

Wow Wayne...see, it's people like you, the ones that give up so fucking easy, that make people like Kanye say what he said. If you gave a rats ass about how much money is being sent to help with the aids crisis and if you were really that "concerned", you would have made effort to further educate others about the situation. In all reality "wayne coady", you don't give a fuck about black people or those less fortunite and in need. these are people that have been living in fucked up poverty for generations upon generations and it's not by choice!! It's because of people like you who give up and take frustration out on those who have hope, just because you feel as though you have failed. how could you think so negative at a time like this. A natural disater can strike ANYWHERE! so is this going to be "bullshit" when you are in need? and bottom line- what you need to do is take your "two red cent", "5 american pennies" and "2 canadian cents" and donate that, because every bit helps. and just so you know,i'm not just blaming you for having your mentality. I'm blaming you and who ever or what ever it is or was that caused you to give up hope.
