Office Of Reconsideration

There is no joke for Canadians to muse over, as there really is a Specified Persons List and there really is an Office of Reconsideration.

If you are left wondering what kind of world our children will be inheriting, head off to your favorite bookstore and pick up a copy of 1984 or read it for free on-line.

ALL TOGETHER NOW!

O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

I read Orwells “1984” many, many years ago and from what I remember it does indeed have some parallels to the current state of affairs in Canada and elsewhere. Do these folk really believe that anyone who has ill intent in mind would travel under his own name or even a known alas, they may be misguided but they are not that dumb!
