Connie Fogal said, "The unjustified paranoid security mania of the US regime attacking Canadian freedom must not be tolerated."
The family holiday of Canadian citizens was destroyed in early January 2006 when American Homeland Security detained Sami Kahil, a Lebanese-born Canadian citizen on landing in Mexico, and then barred him from flying home to Canada on a commercial flight, but never pressed any charges.
Fogal said Canadians must wake up to the regime change enslaving us in North America.
Kahil, a Toronto businessman who has lived in Canada for nearly two decades, is the latest Canadian to fall victim to apparent identity mistakes
made by American Homeland Security authorities in charge of a No Fly list to keep terrorism suspects out of U.S. air space. Previous
anomalies on the list have included a Canadian infant who was only a few months old.
Connie Fogal, Leader, said, "The Liberals, the Conservatives, the NDP and the Bloq Quebecois have hoisted the white flag . The hypocritical three who have raced across this country draped in the Canadian flag pretending Quebec sovereignty is the threat are a national disgrace. Harper's stated intention to post the military in all Canadian cities is true. He is more honest than Martin who is responsible for the current level of surrender to the USA without a whimper."
She continued,"The agenda of the Conservatives and the Liberals is the same- total surrender to a North American Union under US military control directed by the most powerful corporations of North America who have allegiance to nothing but their own greed. Read The Security and Prosperity Initiative report of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives as well as the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement signed in MArch 2005 by Martin, Bush and Fox. While your fear of "deep integration" may be warranted in some cases with respect to sovereignty protection, the question we should be asking ourselves is why we allow terrorists to immigrate here just because they entered into a marraige with a Canadian? Cases like this only support US demands that Canadian overflights need to provide passenger lists to US authorities. And how can we blame them? With our permissive laws and attitudes, zealots like the Kahdr's and twice rejected terrorists like Kahil are still free citizens here, with all the protections our citizenship affords them. For all we know, Kahil was casing planes to use in another 9/11. We already know that terrorists use their families to commit suicide bombings (like the husband-wife team in Jordan). We know that the 9/11 terrorists flew several flights from East to West to find flights that served their purposes. This guy should be investigated thoroughly, as should any associates of his. CSIS should slam down hard and his passport should be revoked... for if nothing else, his travel should be contained. <br />
<br />
We should have a stringent watchlist that is in line with that in the US. And we should enforce it. That is in our national interest. Half of America thinks that one or more of the 9/11 terrorists came through from Canada. If a terrorist like Ressam actually gets through, our short term economy is going into the toilet. For our own shortsighted interests, we should clamp down on these type of people (though my reasoning would be more about being a good neighbor and ally, the thinking on this site is usually more self centered).

* "Cdn on no-fly list ex-Hezbollah member: report<br />
Updated Mon. Jan. 16 2006 8:25 AM ET<br />
<br />
CTV.ca News Staff<br />
<br />
A Lebanese Canadian who was denied entry to Mexico after his name appeared on an American no-fly list originally came to Canada using a false French passport and had previously been a member of a Middle East terrorist group, the Toronto Star reports.<br />
<br />
Sami Kahil, 38,..."who was twice denied refugee status, says his background, including "forced" membership in the terrorist organization Hezbollah still doesn't explain why the U.S government put his name on a no-fly list. <br />
<br />
Kahil has been working to clear his name since Jan. 7, when he was returned to Toronto under RCMP escort on a private jet after being denied entry to Mexico where he planned to have a family vacation. His wife and two children came home earlier.<br />
<br />
"Why all that fuss?" Kahil is quoted as asking in the Star. "I've been flying since after Sept. 11 (2001)." <br />
<br />
Kahil said he'd taken previous flights to the U.S. and Mexico and had also made frequent car trips to the United States. <br />
<br />
But Canadian officials deemed his past explanations suspect and rejected his application for refugee status on Feb. 28, 1991.<br />
<br />
"It is inconceivable to the panel that someone who claims to fear the Hezbollah would consistently return to the area under their control and work for them," the refugee board wrote in its decision to reject him. <br />
<br />
However, Kahil, from Mississauga, Ont., dismissed his past associations.<br />
<br />
While living with his parents in Basta, West Beirut, when he was in his early 20s, Kahil claimed Hezbollah -- a pro-Iranian terrorist organization with global links -- came to his home..."<br />
<br />
* "According to court documents, Kahil said he worked for the group without pay, in a non-combat role, filling sandbags and transporting ammunition.<br />
<br />
In October 1989, he said, his uncle helped him to flee Lebanon for West Germany; from where he flew to Pearson International Airport on Feb. 1, 1990 on a false French passport.<br />
<br />
Kahil says he was eventually sponsored by his Kuwaiti-born Canadian wife, whom he married in 1993.<br />
<br />
American officials insist there's no mistake and defend the no-fly list's accuracy.<br />
<br />
"This is not a case of mistaken identity," U.S. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Brian Doyle told the Star. "I can assure you that if your name is on a U.S. no-fly list, it is not put there in any willy-nilly fashion."<br />
<br />

<br />
Gee Katurine...did the "evil" "system" actually WORK? Duh. Can-Uh-Duuuuuhhhhh.... <br />
"But the Toronto-area resident vehemently denies any ties.
"I've never been a member of Hezbollah. I escaped Hezbollah. How can I be a member?" Kahil told CBC News on Monday.
"I never had a contact with them. They were after me to join them. I escaped. They tortured me, actually. I was afraid. I was escaping Hezbollah."
I thought you were innocent until proven guilty in this country. Maybe not according to your logic. This is throwing out the baby with the bath water and has taken over all reason.

Enjoy your hatred dear Canyuckistani...it just burns doesn't it? It just EATS at you (eh)??? Yeah...it must...for you to hate so vehemently as you do anyone who isn't a leftist/communist/socialist/militant/totalitarian/terrorist/liberal/radical/extremist/hate activist such as yourself and the vivelewehateeverybodyontheplanet.ca crowd hereaboots (eh)...got your commie star tee-shirt yet? Your AK? RPG? Been oot there chanting death threats, hate slogans lately? Burning effigies and flags? Injecting heroin and smoking rope? Eh? Oh, "enlightened", "progressive", "tolerant" one...uh, huh...
Me thinks he doth protest too much. Can KAP please look into these issues before making knee-jerk reactions to all things Americana.
He was twice denied entry to Canada because of his MEMBERSHIP in Hezbollah. He says that they made him join by putting a gun to his head. He says that they made him do administrative jobs for them (thus eliminating the arguement that he was never a member). He says he left to escape them.
And then he went back to them.
Strange behavior for someone who is escaping, no? Why go back to somewhere that you fear for your life? Why go back to people who hold a gun to your head? Why go back to people who would most assuredly be upset that you tried to escape? Why go back to people who kill their own for collaboration with the enemy (surely fleeing to another country to escape their regime is part of that logic).
That's why he was denied entry. Sounds like he was proven guilty, and that's why he was told no... twice. So he found a new way in. Marry a woman and have her move to Canada. Circumvent the laws of the state. Sounds like someone really wanted him here. Fundraising perhaps?
The guy changes his story (either he was lying on his original application or he is lying now). Yet you want to believe him? He doesn't seem too credible to me, but then we're only getting a small part of the story.
Hezbollah is not known for it's generous attitude towards dissent. How is it he was able to get three different hearings to leave without Hezbollah finding out? Of course he said they did find out and they tortured him. So he has physical scars then? Or did they just put him in stress positions and maybe scare him, so he only bears the emotional scars?
I believe in innocence before proven guilty, but I also believe in caution and investigation before allowing people to come to Canada. It seems that the caution and investigation said that he was a risk and should not be let in to Canada. It also said he shouldn't be on any plane going to or over the US. This guy raises a very large red flag. Maybe a security certificate is in order to hold him and sort this out. A full debrief on what he did for Hezbollah is at the very least what we should have obtained.
There are bad people on this earth. Some of them want to kill us. Some of them are here already. Is this guy one of them? Sounds like.
Cap isn't doing too well in the “non-islamic terrorist” demographics so they just wanted to rally their base consistency. Since Hezbollah has vowed to destroy Israel and the USA they can’t be all bad, right?
I think Connie Fogal could be Canada’s Arafat if you would only give the poor dear a chance.
That bit of good ‘ol common sense and clear thinking can’t be allowed to fly here; quick, someone call him a racist. Make sure you capitalize “racist” when you do.

Eyerolls…<br />
<br />
>>>Nobody here is supporting or glorifying terrorism.<<<<br />
<br />
Nope, just appeasing it to take another swipe at the USA. That will show that you are “sovereign”, won’t it? As always..Smart…<br />
<br />
>>And if the US thinks most of the terrorists came from Canada, they better look in the mirror.<<<<br />
<br />
What ever that means… <br />
<br />
>>If the US of A is the beacon of freedom, then PROVE IT! Oops! You can`t support such a claim. Because the ruling class in the US are the 'A' league terrorists! Perhaps if the US ruling class quit using the US military as an enforcer of their imperialism, only then will the threat of terrorist acts against the US fade.<<<<br />
<br />
Why is it that all the Cap people speak in clichés and platitudes? You and Wailing remind me of this every time you post: <br />

Really, read what you write, It is like someone put the same loopy accusations in a blender and whatever floats to the top at the moment you press “submit comment” is what gets splashed on the screen. <br />
<br />
>>.Guess I`m on that no fly list now, eh?<<<<br />
<br />
One can only hope. <br />
I'd like to see you say that to Rudy G's face in some kind of forum. Would make a great televised thrashing...er debate. This sort of talk is sickening.
Back to the issue at hand. How can CAP expect the support of Canadians when it lets fly such knee-jerk reactions?
And yes, of course you're on the list.
lol. All we can do is encourage as many of the nutters as possible not to vote.
