Say NO to drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Take a look at this site. Canada CAN do something to protect our environment. The question is, do we care enough to do so? http://wwf.ca/HowYouCanHelp/DoNotDrill/Letter.asp

    > Do we care?

Was that addressed to other Canadians? If so, the answer is: Nope. Just bitch and moan. Blame someone else.

Remember, smug Canadians are morally superior!

Da world needs more of da Canadian values! Some cretin said it, so it must be so.

Well last I checked over 10,000 Canadians had signed the petition, so obviously some of us care about the impact of industry, greed and corporate profits over the environment. Some of us even understand that intelligent beings, starting with animals, don't shit where they live, some of the supposedly intelligent beings, starting with people, don't get it!

I think it's really wrong. If it was so natural, then we'd be getting oil another way in the first place. Next thing you know things will be changing up there and it's damn stupid! This world has had enough pain and oil drillings to last us enough forever - don't use the arctic now. It's a part of our land and pure nature. Keep it clean. Why start polluting that if we don't have to.

My name is Jennifer and I'm here my aunt Gail. The two of us are highly against this drilling. Is there a certain place we can go to sign?
