B.C. Coroner Orders Public Inquest Into Multiple Murder-Suicide

The system as it is in present use, is incapable of sending consistent radio signals through buildings. This aspect (which one would think would be invaluable to both police and fire) was somehow omitted from the final specifications (and as rumour has it) in order to save money. http://www.canada.com/victoriatimescolonist/news/capital_van_isl/story.html?id=7854e907-50a3-412e-9de2-fa233c3c2d2e The question that has not been asked yet, is: who will be held accountable for this gross mismanagement?

Cel phones are prone to cutting out in that part of town also because transmitters in the US interfere with the signal. Land lines work ok though. I read in the Victoria Times Colonist that the 911 call came from a cellular & kept cutting out so the person who answered had trouble finding out what was going on.
