A lot of Island communities relied on those saw mills that can no longer afford to buy logs. No big deal to those in larger communities because they don't rely on the lumber industry. Or do they? Morgage rates are down for now but the cost of building is going up,up and it can't all be blamed on union wages. Lumber imports from the USA is next on the Liberal agenda.
