NDP And CEP To Hold Press Conference Re Legal Complaints Around SPP

News advisory - Complaint filed re Montebello as protestors gear up for New Orleans SPP meeting

OTTAWA, April 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) and NDP International Trade Critic, Peter Julian (MP Burnaby-New Westminster), will hold a news conference on legal actions stemming from the police cover-up at Montebello last August, and the destructive secrecy that continues to surround the SPP process.

When: Tuesday April 15th, 2008

Following the news conference, CEP is hosting a luncheon/forum for MPs on the risk to Canada's energy supply and the loss of valued-added jobs caused by three pipeline construction projects in Alberta. It will be held at 131 Queen St., Room 08-53 from noon to 2 pm.
