RCMP officers are going through Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa after Elections Canada requested they raid the facility.

At least two Mounties were inside the office while about 20 reporters and opposition researchers waited for the officers to finish their probe.

CTV's Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife said the probe appears to be related to an alleged "in-and-out scheme."

"This is (related to) election financing in the last election campaign where the Conservatives apparently used local advertising that was supposed to be intended for local ads, but was actually used for national ads I believe, so there are lots of questions about whether this may be illegal or not illegal," Fife told CTV's Canada AM.

Few details are available, Fife said, because the probe of the 12th floor office is still underway.

A spokesperson for Elections Canada told The Canadian Press the RCMP's assistance was requested by elections commissioner William Corbett to help carry out a search warrant...

*gasp shock* All I can say is GOOD. Investigate the shady bastards.

Would it not be best to investigate "the shady bastards" before electing them?

What it all comes down to is "our shady bastards' v "your shady bastards"

How many decades of after the fact investigation will it take for the penny to drop for the electorate?

Your province recently experiences the return of "the shady bastards" due to lack of voter turn-out and I don't suppose the numbers are significantly higher else-where in Canada

you cant investigate them beforehand, just like you cant kill the president before he becomes president. The best liars are the ones who become top politicians and it's for a reason folks. This smells kind of like a manufactured event to make the RCMP themselves look like the saviors...I don't buy it though, lol.

I might have accepted "I can't ..." But NEVER tell me what I can do or cannot do!

All I have to do is to have a quick glance at a claim to see that it is false. It is due to sloppy thinking like yours "The best liars are the ones who become top politicians..."
When one grasps "the best liars" concept it is not a large leap to detecting their lies.

Anyone that wants an elected governement job that badly to cheat the rules aren't Angels with honorable intent, especially those who have high corprorate jobs and take a step down postion to be prime minister raises a red light with me. As good a reason as any to give government, particularly at the federal level, less power over us, less control over our lives, and less money to waste and grease their friends with.

You want to stop the bears from coming around? Stop leaving the honey out.

Tommy Douglas was often offerd a seat in the senate to get him out of active politics. He always refused. No one who is a crook turns down a senate seat for life.
It was often said that if Ed Broadbent ran for any other party but the NDP he would become prime minister by the largest majority in Canadian history. He refused because none of the other parties represented what he believed in.No one who is a crook turns down that kind of oppotunity. So much for the claim that they are all crooks. If they were all crooks , they would all flock to one party as soon as that one party looked like they would win.

Power corrupts...even for socialists (just ask British Columbians). And believe me, if the NDP ever comes to power federally, people will be looking back nostalgically at the "crooks". Even Mulroney would become popular in hindsight after the New Democrats ran the economy into the ground, shoved identity politics and political correctness down our throats and drove merit out of all hiring, compensation and advancement decisions in the workplace.

inde, you've never figuared out who the real socialist are have you?
you are forever stuck in using false labels, and don't be going all black v white on me

How the International Bankers Conspiracy Formed Banks, Suppressed History and Caused Wars, Assassinations and Depressions

The Hidden Power article (14.5) has very strong proof of this and the following 12 points. Please judge for yourself about what the report says. I have briefly summarized what it says below but there is much more. It is worth spending a few days to read it. It claims all the recent wars over about the last 200 years were deliberately caused by the international bankers and people trying to control the world. The article states the wars were deliberately funded and agitated by hate propaganda through the conspirators' media.
Boom and bust cycles along with the depressions, stock market crashes and wars are deliberately caused to cause people to lose money to the conspirators. They also weaken the people and tame governments into accepting the conspirators' solutions.
The history books controlled by the conspiracy do not tell the full truth on why many events happen. For example the conspirators blame slavery for the American civil war but the real reason was to establish a central bank in the USA and to force a war to enable them to lend money at interest. The war caused a need for the North to borrow money and the bankers bribed congress that a central bank was needed for this and also threatened congress and senators. The North won and the bank was established.
The conspirators bribed members of the government by paying them and having them work for the bank. Intense deceptive media publicity convinced the public and politicians of the benefit of the Federal Reserve Act. It was done in ways such as by lying and saying that the banks will reduce boom and bust cycles. The Federal Reserve Act was passed near Christmas when few people were present to vote against it.
Hitler was funded by the USA and Britain to create a bigger war. The U.S. government controlled by the bankers conspiracy, wanted Hitler to invade America but he declined due to the risk of the number of Americans with guns. The U.S. government also encouraged Japan to invade Pearl harbour to get America into the war.
The bankers funded Arab and Japanese companies to buy up property around the world so the bankers could gain more control of it.
Manipulation of agriculture has and will be used to force the population to accept the conspirators' demands such as having to surrender guns to get food.
The U.S deliberately tried to lose the Korean and Vietnam War so the communists would remain with territory. The war was to make it acceptable to fight under NATO and UN command.
Although involved with the conspiracy since his initial rise to power, President Kennedy was killed by an agent of the conspiracy for wanting to pull out of Vietnam and printing silver currency.
Many countries now with conflicts had peace until the influence of International Bankers Conspiracy.
The collapse of the Soviet Union was a hoax to fool the world into a false sense of security and also to slowly cause the world to accept communism. The bankers funded the Soviet Union to create an arms race, which cost time and money. Also it caused the nations to gladly surrender their arms in the name of peace so that the goal of a one-world army could be formed under the control of the United Nations.
In World War 2 the US and British government controlled by the bankers succeeded in getting the Soviet Union to control much of Eastern Europe.
They can control the weather for Biological warfare. They are deliberately ruining the environment to gain more control.

Can you name an instance.........? (and no, don't bring up the right-wing's pathetic attempt to nail the 90's in BC to the "socialists") The background then was set up by the Socreds, which the electorate dumped) and the NDP nicely (but not in time) pulled BC away from the brink.......

Whether you'll read or understand any of this isn't the question , Indie the question is that what you have claimed is blatantly false.
As soon as it began to look like the NDP had a chance there was interference from south of the 49th
Although I don't recall the date there was an expose'
