NAFTA Bashing Off The Democrats' Agenda

The once-decried free trade deals of the primaries have been all but abandoned as political boogeymen.

During the Democrats' nominating convention here this week, nary a mention arose about the North American Free Trade Agreement or its peers. There was talk about how President Bush ruined the economy and how Barack Obama would change it, along with Obama's policy proposals for recovery.

    Well, of course! No political whore wants to talk about NAFTA, precisely, chapter 11! I`ve written to MP`s, MPP`s, the PM, and talked to a mayor and a regional councillor. When you mention chapter 11, they want to go and hide!

    ...which all goes to prove that, with the Democrats and the Republicans, while the money goes into two different pockets, those pockets are attached to the same pair of pants.......
