On Wednesday, President Bush held only his third press conference and was asked three times whether he accepted responsibility for failing to act on warning before September 11. "I'm sure something will pop into my head here in the midst of this press conference with all the pressure of trying to come up with an answer, but it hadn't [sic] yet," he said. "I just haven't - you just put me under the spot here and maybe I'm not quick - as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one."

    That pretty well says it all, 'can't come up with one' as in an answer, how about just telling the truth, then you don't have to come up with anything, you can just tell it...really quite easy once you get started!

    Are you suggesting that George Bush is less than honest, Whelan? ;-)

    I'm listening to Air America right now. You know the FISA (sp?) warrants that were so hard to get and hampered Ashcroft's ability to investigate terrorism? In 2000, Ashcroft applied for 1005 of them and received 1012. Not only was he never turned down, but he got seven more than he asked for.

    Do I have to suggest anything? Really why would anyone have to come up with an answer...I just don't get this? The facts seem to be out there somewhere, but it also seems clear that they were planning to do whatever they wanted 'no questions asked',they expected a blank cheque not only from the American people, but from the world and with 'no questions asked'. So now that some are actually asking questions, they are unprepared, and frankly quite shocked that anyone would dare to ask, I mean really he seems to be saying, 'I AM The Head Honcho of the World, I am the world liberator, I am the savior, I am the one who will declare democracy for all you lucky suckers,'

    So I do not have an answer cause I really wasn't expecting any of you to question my decisions! Surprise! The planet is waking up and the drivel won't be accepted by the masses!

    So NO Rev, I am not suggesting anything, the actions are speaking louder than the drivel!
