Stewart is sentenced to five months for lying about stock sale for making a few thousand and yet the oil companies are making Billions in untaxed revenue. Koch, the largest privately owned oil company, is not held under the same scrutiny that publicly traded business have and it has used the weakness of democratic society to grease the wheels of change. For example: there has been over 300 oil spills in the United states since 1990. The cost of cleanup would be in the billions however, through proper lobbying, senate votes and information provided by think tanks that are funded by the oil industry the fine was made to be 30 Million and even that is being appealed.
