The two veto-wielding permanent members of the 15-nation Security Council have signaled to Caribbean nations that they do not want a U.N. probe of Aristide's ouster.
There is murder and torture going on in Haiti.

<p>This time we (Canada) are a part of the cause of it. There is a lot of arm twisting going on at the UN, an investigation would obviously show that what happened in Haiti was an armed invasion bought and paid for by the USA. And just like in Afghanistan the drug trade is flourishing now that the Americans are in country.
Have you people nothing better to do? Why don't you leave Haiti out of your political agendas? Don't you think this poor country has suffered enough? What exactly do you think a "probe" would accomplish? Then what? More sanctions? More suffering?

Radio KPFA in Berkeley has been making serious accusations about what's happening in Haiti for two months. Stuff that you don't see or hear in the corporate media. If you're interested see www.kpfa.org. See the archives and look especially at the program called 'Flashpoints'.
