Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran

What We've Become The question should be asked: are we a good people anymore? We are not a great people – that much is certain. Not in a land where more people watch "American Idol" than the State of the Union address. In reality, we are still, as Martin Luther King pointed out nearly four decades ago, "the greatest purveyors of violence in the world." One day, if we are not careful, we will choke on our myths. full article: http://www.lewrockwell.com/bender/bender10.html

Okay, enough is enough. The right people will know you for what you are. Now you are advocating violence and physical harm against an entire society. Men, women, and children. MANY of which are friends, and family members of Canadians. 4canada you are a very sick individual. You are not, "for Canada". Or anybody else, except your own twisted hatred of everyone besides yourself. The Canada I know would never advocate the kinds of horrible things you are advocating. You are not to my mind a fellow human being, let alone a fellow Canadian. Being against "deep integration" is one thing. I believe most average Americans are with us on that one. A friend of mine posted a blog's web address here a short while ago as an illustration of what effect people like you have on our international image as Canadians. You should go see the results of you and your "friends" handiwork. Nice Job. I fully expect this to get edited out as did my friends reference to something which went against the personal views of the site administrators. The same site administrators who not only allowed THIS post of yours along with many others like it to run on their site, but in fact encourage posters like you to keep up the "good" work. These same administrators who are painting a completely different picture of normal Canadians to the world than what we in fact are. Good, decent people. Hate crime is hate crime, no matter which group you target. Targeting someone for hate crime based upon their national origin is in fact HATE CRIME. The administrators might enjoy explaining this to someone in the future. Bombing ANYONE is not acceptable in my book. No wonder that blogger has this listed as a hate site. Go see for yourself. It's at www.northamericans4peace.blogspot.com . Strangely enough I am beginning to see where that person is coming from. I very seriously doubt that there are over 280 million people anxiously anticipating the bombing of Iran with great glee. Unless they are like YOU, "4canada".

sorry...the above is more appropriately directed at the post directly above it...I assumed it was "4canada" and it might not be (if not I am sorry) as it is also from an "anonymous" user as is my own post.

Americans don`t seem to have too much problem with bombing anyone.Just look at their history. The bombing of Cambodia, which left over a million dead. Then again one can look at Iraq. The American public did put Bush back in office. It is the Americans and Brits that are bombing the Iraq people today.A few American citizens might be against the war,but certainly not the majority.Of course I don`t see the rest of the world jumping to Iraqs aid either.
maybe it has to do with oil being slippery?

Um,anon,I just checked out the web site listed.Kinda interesting.Notice the American attitude that spews on it?They don`t like us.So what else is new?

  6. Fri Apr 15, 2005 4:10 pm
Majority of the world didn't jump to the defense of Kurds, Marsh Arabs and Shiites when they were slaughtered by Saddam (as well as raped, tortured, ethnically cleansed, etc)...I guess they didn't matter...since no rhetorical points could be made against the US (who doesn't value your viewpoint anyhow). Wow...its great to see the moral musings of those who have no moral authority! I suppose we are to believe that Canada and the Left suddenly care for the Iraqi people or any other people for that matter. Yes, suddenly...human compassion is awakened after 30 years of indifference. How about letting 80% of Iraqis decide if your a moral midget, an intellectual retard and a sychophant of totalitarianism.

Canada should send troops to help the insurgents....Ooops, I forgot about the "cowardice" thing...Never mind.

Finally! You make a post that does not violate the rules in the FAQ!

My personal views have nothing to do with my moderating comments. Read the FAQ, look in the forumns why your posts were deleted, there is a record of them and why. You might have the right to your own views, but you have no right to use this place as a medium to spew them.

Might I suggest you and your house mates use your computers or browsers capabilities to use multiple profiles, then everyone can have their own username and posts from the same computer will appear to be more coherent?

As for 4Canada's comments, the only thing she wrote were the words "Unfortunate and sad". The rest was taken from the linked article as an example of what not to do. And yet your knee jerks, and you assume that all of the article was written by her, and yet, she is the first to comment on how this article appears to the rest of the world. She appears to be the one with a vision for how Canada should be, as opposed to your 'attack the messenger' stance.

Personal attacks are one reason 'your' posts have been deleted. Kinda tough to tell one foaming at the mouth Anon from another.

My response was to the above. If you failed to notice (amazingly) an apology was made to "4canada". I still do not believe in violence, but am for more peaceful means of resolving conflict. Two wrongs do not make a right. I still stand by that ascertation. I see you have decided to single me (and others like me)out yet again(funny how you always do that, isn't it?) for YOUR personal attack and " mouth foaming", but you never seem to single out the hater types that you apparently agree with continually. Such as the above mentioned advocate of violence. You chose me to focus upon instead. Seems as though it's become very personal between you, and the IP address of the computer I occasionally use. Harassment isn't something I, or anyone else hereabouts enjoys being subjected to, kind sir. I have yet to see you come to the defence of myself or any others who have views differing from yours when we have been "personally" attacked. Is this sexist protectionism in action perchance? If so, then why aren't you "protecting" me too? Or IS it more appropriately that for you, it's all about intimidation of those with whom you disagree? Objectivity and neutrality as a "mediator/administrator" would be helpful for everyone. Maybe you should stick to the server in the backroom and cease harassing the participants. There seems to be a conflict of interests of sorts between what you have been assigned to do and what you want to do (and have been allowed to do). Maybe you should resign from your "position" and join the fray as a participant free to "let it all hang out" (not that it's ever stopped you before). People shouldn't have to be afraid to participate if this truly IS a reputable site, should they? AT least they shouldn't have reason to fear the "establishment" running the site. Unless they make threats (like who?) or unless they advocate violence (like who?). Otherwise, might we be left alone to exercise some modicum of freedom of speech? I think I would have some right to protection from YOU by a site administrator!

"Personal attacks are one reason 'your' posts have been deleted. Kinda tough to tell one foaming at the mouth Anon from another." (Dr. Caleb)

Please see above. Who is being more "personal"? You are sitting there looking at the IP address of the machine I am writing from. You know what you're doing and who you are addressing quite well.

Speaking out against violence is now considered "foaming at the mouth" by vivelecanada .ca (or at least you, personally) - I am deeply saddened. I thought you were capable of rising above that. I appear to be wrong. Like I previously stated though. There is plenty on the site to hold the interest of certain people. And 99% of it judging from your archives occured before I even became aware of your existence. My friends and I (excluding those who you ran off already) will be watching with at least mild interest. Maybe even comment here and again. Unless of course you DO ban us. We have been noticing a domino-like effect of interest in your site as an example of a certain "mentality". You are becoming quite the specimen. Does this one go in file 13 too?

Might I emphasize this...I intend to ALWAYS be on the side of peace, and against killing, violence, bloodshed, and physical/mental/emotional/finacial intimidation. Your censorship is NOT going to change my mind Dr. Caleb!

P.S. I do NOT want Iran, or the United States, or ANYBODY "bombed"!

not addressing your comment, spud...don't worry. We're cool. Being constantly attacked by a certain individual is getting old, and warranted a brief response. Once officially requested to cease the harassment, (in writing no less) if it continues, it's on him. And if the site condones it and allows it to continue knowingly, the same applies to them. There is a certain procedure to follow just in the event someone claims they are not "aware" they are harassing you. You are under a certain "obligation" to let them know. I'll never speak, or type another word of it if he simply leaves me alone. I am also of the belief that "jvanherk" and "Dr.Caleb" are one and the same. So don't worry Spud. Just let it drift on by...
