Paul Cavalluzzo, counsel for the commission of inquiry into Mr. Arar's arrest and deportation to Syria, said Mr. Harper would be asked to testify if he can shed light on the Arar file.

I hope so. Looks good on him.
To say he had not been briefed after he said he had is on tape, they have proof he said it. I was watching that program.
He can't weasel out of this one.

I saw him too, and then saying something like "maybe I shouldn't say too much here, but, I do get briefed from the PMO office."
Also, heard you today on CPAC talking about Roy and his experience with the Chamber of Commerce. You sounded informed at least. Some of those people that are voting Concervative sound like seniors that haven't realized the PCs no longer exist. Frustrating!
It must run 70-80% of callers.
I try to give them something to refute harper's stand on certain issues.
Once I told Peter van Dusen to watch harper's lips, don't listen to the words. They are not the same.
Harper is clever, but he is also a quitter, and will not take any crap from anyone he works with.
Another thing, the reporters travelling with him are getting frustrated because he doesn't seem to want to take any more questions at his press conferences. Arrogant as hell !
I watched CBC tonight and they profiled harper and Martin. Harper was working in Ottawa for the Reform party and quit. Didn't like politics.
He later became an Alliance MP, and then quit. Politics is too slow.
His view of voters is that they are not informed and they will believe you if you say the right things.
This guy is manipulative, big time.
Can't wait until Monday.

If I stand for my country today...will my country be here to stand for me tomorrow?
He doesn't lose it, but when someone asks him something he doesn't agree with, or doesn't want to talk about, the first word out of his mouith is "Look, ...".
He's talking down to people and I don't like that at all.
Why are so many others missing this arrogance ?
