Conservative Doublespeak

Stephen Harper would like Canadians to believe that his government has our best interests in mind when he makes grand announcements about securing Canada’s sovereignty over the High Arctic, yet at the same time is running headlong into the giveaway of Canada known as the SPP.

Photo-ops and trips to Canada’s remote corners make for great press. Too bad the press doesn’t dig a little deeper. It's great that they are expanding Canadian reach over what is already our territory, but it's too bad they are using it as a diversion.

And am I the only one who is really sick and tired of the Conservatives still dropping that propaganda slogan, “Canada’s new government”?
