Conspiracy And Closed Minds On 9/11

Posted on Tuesday, May 30 at 05:26 by Milton
Where does this passive attitude come from? Causes are many but American indoctrination has two sides that figure prominently in the explanation: • Belief in “American Exceptionalism” • Disbelief in conspiracy The first belief massages the American ego that we are heroes, always the good guys in history, and we can trust our government to be the same. The second steers us clear of subversive theories and thwarts connecting the dots. American exceptionalism is Civics 101, the Disneyfication of U.S. history, the “we’re so good” formula, “those stupid romances commonly called history.” Like no other nation in history, we are an unparalleled success, goes the story. With American self-esteem unrivalled, denial about 9/11 is hardly surprising. Conventional wisdom, in effect, says Yes, criminal gangs have ruled in other nations from time to time, perhaps always, but it has never happened here and cannot happen here. Evidence to the contrary is bogus, I do not have to even look at it. For one thing, I vote. We are the world’s greatest duh-mocracy. In fact, I voted for Bush-Cheney (or that other skull-and-bones candidate from Yale, I forget). I am fully invested with the regime and I’m not a criminal or traitor, so Bush-Cheney must not be either. After all, we the people are the government. Criminals and traitors do not look like us either, they look like Arabs, Germans, Japanese, Chinese. Besides, conspiracy theories are little more than a symptom of a mental disease. Such asinine theories stem from delusion and paranoia, not objective reality. On its face, it is preposterous to believe that the U.S. government would attack its own people. History is about accidents, bungling, lone nuts, chaos and coincidence, not planning, cause-and-effect, execution and cover-ups. False Flag Terrorism Americans know a great deal that just is not so. The hidden history of false-flag terrorism is key, followed by trained aversion to conspiracy. When bad things happen on a large scale, chances are that an important group of people wanted them to happen and made them happen. Governments throughout history have provoked or staged attacks on their own people to serve the powers behind the throne (“the money power”), glorify themselves, engage in vast government spending, reward friends, exert domestic control, stimulate the juices of war, annex neighbors and pursue vast geostrategic rearrangements (the “global domination project”). A few examples: • Nero burned Rome to blame the Christans A.D. 64 • US provoked Mexican-American war 1846 • USS Maine sinking 1898 • Lusitania sinking 1915 • Reichstag fire 1933 • Hitler’s staged attack on the Gleiwitz radio station 1939 • The “surprise attack” at Pearl Harbor 1941 • Bay of Pigs conspiracy 1961 • Operation Northwoods 1962 • LBJ’s Gulf of Tonkin conspiracy 1964 • Kuwaiti baby incubator hoax 1991 • Bush Jr.’s 9/11, yellow cake and WMD scams Ruthless though plotters be, the basic principle “is as mundane as insurance fraud,” as Webster G. Tarpley writes (9/11 Synthetic Terror, 2005, p. 104), and nicely illustrated by the obscure hoax that started World War II. Hitler wanted to invade Poland but knew the German majority did not support war, so a group of hapless German convicts was dressed up in Polish army uniforms (by Tarpley’s account, also see these variations), marched to the Gleiwitz radio station, machine gunned to death, arranged as if storming the building, and Nazi agents read an anti-German statement in Polish declaring Polish forces had invaded Gleiwitz and taken over the radio station. With this farce and related border stunts, Hitler invaded Poland the next day, September 1, 1939. “Wag the dog” anyone? Errors about Conspiracy Many Americans know that the JFK, RFK, MLK and other assassinations were inside jobs, and Nixon’s Watergate and Reagan’s Iran-Contra are proven conspiracies with criminal convictions. Blatant government murder of U.S. citizens occurred at Waco, Ruby Ridge and the Oklahoma City bombing. Yet fools and liars argue that the scale of 9/11 was too big to be an inside job because it would involve so many people. A conspirator would surely squeal and we would hear about it, goes the argument, and that has not happened. JFK’s triangulation murder involved hundreds and nobody “ratted” that out in any substantial way, although Jack Ruby was close before he was found dead in his cell and dozens of deaths surrounded the case. Here’s how large, inside conspiracies work: • Conspiracies—partnerships in crime—are common: a corner drug deal is a conspiracy and one in four federal prosecutions include a conspiracy charge. • Hundreds rather than thousands probably were necessary to pull off the 9/11 psychological operation. • Many conspirators are ideologues committed to the idea that the 9/11 hoax would serve the interests of the nation. Worthy ends justify murderous means to this crowd. The human cost of 9/11 turned out to be “only” a month’s highway fatality toll and served the magnificent ends of starting a global war on terror, two invasions and more to come, billions more in defense spending, torture, new agencies, “Patriot” controls, domestic spying, enormous new contracts, more debt and many other attractive consequences. • Many participants are cunning sociopaths (amoral) with the mindset of stone cold killers. They wear a suit or military uniform but have no respect for the lives of the “little people.” They are ruthless, witness the fool in the White House: “But all in all, it’s been a fabulous year for Laura and me,” a tone-deaf president declared in a December, 2001 interview. • Only the trustworthy are at the center of the hub-spoke-and-wheel compartmentalization necessary in a complex conspiracy. Only the arrogant few at the hub know the big picture before hand. • The most secretive regime in U.S. history puts a huge premium on personal loyalty and gets it. • Most participants did not know in advance how “over-the-top” the twin tower demolitions were going to be. That job probably was contracted out to ruthless foreigners. Once done, it’s too late to get out. • Any participant would hesitate to squeal after the event because disbelief, disgrace and grief would follow, at a minimum, anyway. The major media, inside 9/11 from the start, would discredit squealers, as necessary. • Risk-taking behavior is always greater in groups than for lone individuals (psychology 101). • Once involved in the plot, everyone is “in for good.’ • Conspirators face no threat of arrest, prosecution and punishment by the government’s justice system, a proven fact since government and media obstructed and trashed New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison’s JFK investigation and prosecution. • Controllers discipline participants through $billions in black budgets and drug money, death threats, assassination and black mail. • Blatant and repeated resistance against truthful investigations, aided by obstruction of justice and abetted by media silencio, prove there is a lot to hide. Consider one control technique among many: a very high CIA official died a few years ago and on good authority I know that he had a 7/24 CIA presence to protect against a deathbed confession in front of Hospice personnel. “I’m not into conspiracy theories,” says filmmaker Michael Moore, “only those that are true.” The fundamental difficulty is not really disbelief about the ability to keep conspiracy secrets but disbelief that U.S. government officials could really collaborate in attacking America and take all those innocent lives at the World Trade Center. This is naïve. First, government is the instrument of social compulsion. Organized force is what government does. The belief that soft-hearted people rise to the top in government is akin to the belief that softies were whipping masters on slave plantations. Second, setting WTC bombs could easily have been contracted out to Mossad, otherwise known as “executioner to the world.” Killing? It’s what we do (because this is “life or death for Israel,” blah, blah). Third, people are taught that they control their government and live in a duh-mocracy but all governments are run by insiders, usually permanent and dominated by the paymasters. When policy or personnel really matter, international bankers call the tune for modern governments daily dependent on them for new loans and refinance of the old. These financiers look out for themselves and believe in a New World Order, a one-government world, and have no allegiance to America or its founding principles. Fourth, the U.S. military oath requires an oath-taker to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” The enemy within the gate is key today, whether called conspiracy or not, not the enemy outside. Skepticism about conspiracy, small or large, is somewhat beside the point in the case of 9/11 because the official Osama-and-Nineteen-Young-Arabs (ONYA) conspiracy tale is so farcical and impossible. Nearly everyone in America has easy access to the internet and hundreds of websites expose the 9/11 fraud. The analysis is out there and in a few dozen books, although the mainstream media ignores it all. Only government could have pulled off a psy-op this big, not a rag-tag band of Arab incompetents with no visible means of support repeatedly running afoul of law enforcement in the field. All the other intelligence services and governments know the real story about who did 9/11. It is like an elephant in the living room, studiously ignored by insiders who keep quiet about it. After thorough exposure via the Downing Street memo and other irrefutable evidence about the Bush-Cheney lies to justify invading Iraq, it takes a lot to remain ignorant about 9/11. It is not about a conspiracy too large to work. Ignorance increasingly has to be willful. Copyright Morgan Reynolds 2006+ unless otherwise specified. I agree with most of your arguments, I'm not sold on Pearl Harbour, though.

In my mind, there would be obvious slip-ups with this one, it's just too big to pull off, there are ALWAYS glaring slip-ups, like the magic bullet problem in the JFK assassination, the obvious link to the FBI and CIA with Oswald (proven in court he was on both payrolls) and Building 7 on 9-11.

If Pearl Harbour was staged, there would have been a sacrifice of a few ships in harbour, while the rest of the battleships put to sea for some strange unexplained order. This did not happen. Although the aircraft carrier was emerging as the new king of the sea, in 1941 the nations of the world were very much still in the previous century's belief that he who has the most battleships wins. So there is no way the US Navy would deliberately sacrifice it's battleships, to simply allow a sneak attack that would give them an excuse to enter the Pacific war.

They would have allowed a couple of old hulks get bombed, (playing them up later in the media) and the air defenses would have mysteriously sprung into action on that Sunday morning, to minimize damage.

The attack could still have been played up to great effect to galvanize public opinion against Japan and evoke war powers and round up all 'Japs' (sickens me to type that) into internment camps anyway.

No, without clear evidence to the contrary, the attack on Pearl Harbour to me will remain one of the greatest military operations in modern history, and Japan deserves full credit for it.

<blockquote>No, without clear evidence to the contrary, the attack on Pearl Harbour to me will remain one of the greatest military operations in modern history, and Japan deserves full credit for it.</blockquote> No doubt. But wasn't the underlying reason the fact that the US effectively cut off Japan's oil supplies? For a nation with no energy of it's own, this would have galvanized them to commit to a policy of attack, in order to secure a strategic commodity. The US would have known this, even if they did not know where the attack would be aimed, or who it would be aimed against. <p>---<br>RickW

    The McCollum Memo:<br />
The Smoking Gun of Pearl Harbor<br />
    <br />
On October 7, 1940, Lieutenant Commander Arthur McCollum of the Office of Naval Intelligence submitted a memo to Navy Captains Walter Anderson and Dudley Knox (whose endorsement is included in the following scans). Captains Anderson and Knox were two of President Roosevelt's most trusted military advisors.<br />
    <br />
The memo, scanned below, detailed an 8 step plan to provoke Japan into attacking the United States. President Roosevelt, over the course of 1941, implemented all 8 of the recommendations contained in the McCollum memo. Following the eighth provocation, Japan attacked. The public was told that it was a complete surprise, an "intelligence failure", and America entered World War Two. <br />

That's fine, and the Americans did so, one only need look at the Flying Tigers operating in China to see that. They did far more to goad Hitler into declaring war on them, by openly escorting British transports across the Atlantic with US warships, then getting all upset when they started getting sunk.

This is because at the start of World war II, the US had been a traditionally isolationist nation, and the majority of US citizens supported that. Therefore the only way to convince them to go to war would be to intimidate the enemy into attacking first.

All standard political maneuvering in time of war.

What is open to debate, however, is how much information the US had on the impending Pearl Harbour attack. I think that if they really did know about it but wanted it to happen anyway, they would have made sure a lot more battleships were put to sea, and they would have been far more prepared for the attack than they were, in order to ensure it wasn't the one-sided massaquer that it was. This they could have lied about in the media.

Or perhaps they did, and the damage done at Pearl Harbour was far less than reported? I have not seen any evidence so far of this.

Within months, they did have the Japanese Naval codes decyphered, but not before Midway. This, of course, was at the heart of the defeat of the Japanese, just like the Enigma code break was at the heart of the German defeat.

FDR had to do it to get into the war, as he himself later told Stalin. He needed massive public outrage and that required big sacrifice.<br><br> 2. Would he do it? Did he "love the Navy too much?" He was sacrificing ships in the Atlantic for the same purpose. Of course he would do it - he was doing it.<br><br> 3. He saved all the important elements of the fleet. In the spring he had sent many ships to the Atlantic. He kept the aircraft carrier Saratoga on the West Coast. And his sending of the two carrier groups out of harbor meant that not only they but also their fast escort ships would be saved - all the new ships stationed at Pearl Harbor were saved. Only WWI junk was left in harbor. Here is a list of all the ships saved - <a href="http://www.ibiblio.org/pha/pha/misc/non-ph.html">Ships saved at Pearl December 7</a><br><br> 4. FDR's attitude is best summed up by co-conspirator Admiral Bloch's testimony to Congress, "The Japanese only destroyed a lot of old hardware. In a sense they did us a favor."<br><br> 5. This was obviously FDR's view as well, because on 7 December at 2:15 PM, minutes after hearing of the attack and before any damage reports were in, FDR called Lord Halifax at the British Embassy and told him "Most of the fleet was at sea...none of their newer ships were in harbour." He had protected the new ships, the important elements of the fleet, and that fact was at the forefront of his mind in relation to the attack. First, it means FDR didn't care about the old ships. Secondly, it means he knew before the attack that only old ships were in harbor for the attack. Therefore, Pearl Harbor was "the first shot without too much danger to ourselves" he sought. FDR was the architect of the attack plot from the oil embargo to the ultimatum to the final touches of deciding who would live and who would die.<br><br> COVERUP BY SECRECY. Why does the government refuse to release all the messages to the attack fleet, or any JN-25 messages decoded before Dec 7? There is absolutely nothing about national security to hide in JN-25. It is a trivial and worthless 19th century code. The techniques for cracking it had been published world-wide in 1931. The US government has proudly showed how they used JN-25 decrypts after December 8 to win the Battle of Midway which occurred 7 months after Pearl Harbor. Therefore, there is nothing intrinsic about the code itself, the means of cracking it, or the fact that we cracked it, that has any national security implications of any nature. What is the difference between decrypts from the Purple machine and decrypts from JN-25? The answer is simply that the JN-25 messages contained the final operational details of the Pearl Harbor attack, whereas the Purple did not.<br><br> WHAT ARE THEY HIDING? Why won't they let the truth out? Such secrecy breeds mistrust in government. The only thing that is left to hide are JN-25 decrypts and worksheets showing that the US and Britain monitored the Japanese attack fleet all the way to Pearl Harbor. That is the scandal. That is the big secret. It raises the issue of whether the NSA is accessory after the fact to treason. However, the secrecy and misdirection by the NSA about our capabilities with JN-25B and pre-war messages proves there is something very wrong. The NSA has systematically lied about the size of the JN25 books by a factor of 4 and about how many codebreakers worked on the code in 1941 by a factor of 22. The NSA is an evil Gestapo that is committed neither to truth nor open government nor the rule of law. We live an Orwellian history in which treason is honored, in which FDR's murder of thousands of young innocent men is good. In a word, we are no different from the tyranny we decry. A self-governing people must have truth to make proper decisions. By subverting the truth, the National Security Agency is subverting our Democracy.<br><br> <a href="http://tinyurl.com/8fxot">Pearl Harbor, Mother of All Conspiracies</a>

Hard to believe if they had broken the Japanese codes.

From, Pearl Harbor Mother of All Conspiracies, linked above:

    # Purple Code - the top Japanese diplomatic machine cipher which used automatic telephone switches to separately and differently encipher each character sent. It was cracked by the Army Signal Intelligence Service (331 men).

    # J-19 was the main Japanese diplomatic code book. This columnar code was cracked.

    # Coral Machine Cipher or JNA-20 was a simplified version of Purple used by Naval attaches. Only one message deciphered prior to Pearl Harbor has been declassified.

    # JN-25 - The Japanese Fleet's Cryptographic System, a.k.a. 5 number code (Sample). JN stands for Japanese Navy, introduced 1 June 1939. This was a very simple old-type code book system used by the American Army and Navy in 1898 and abandoned in 1917 because it was insecure. Version A has a dictionary of 5,600 numbers, words and phrases, each given as a five figure number. These were super-enciphered by addition to random numbers contained in a second code book. The dictionary was only changed once before PH on Dec 1, 1940, to a slightly larger version B but the random book was changed every 3 to 6 months- last on Aug 1. The Japanese blundered away the code when they introduced JN25-B by continuing to use, for 2 months, random books that had been previously solved by the Allies. That was the equivalent of handing over the JN-25B codebook. It was child's play for the Navy group OP-20-G (738 men whose primary responsibility was Japanese naval codes) to reconstruct the exposed dictionary. We recovered the whole thing immediately - in 1994 the NSA published that JN-25B was completely cracked in December 1940. In January 1941 the US gave Britain two JN-25B code books with keys and techniques for deciphering. The entire Pearl Harbor scheme was laid out in this code. The official US Navy statement on JN-25B is the NAVAL SECURITY GROUP HISTORY TO WORLD WAR II prepared by Captain J. Holtwick in June 1971, page 398: "By 1 December 1941 we had the code solved to a readable extent." Churchill wrote "From the end of 1940 the Americans had pierced the vital Japanese ciphers, and were decoding large numbers of their military and diplomatic telegrams."(GRAND ALLIANCE p 598) Chief of Navy codebreaking Safford reported that during 1941 "The Navy COMINT team did a thorough job on the Japanese Navy with no help from the Army."(SRH-149) The first paragraph of the Congressional Report Exhibit 151 says the US was "currently" (instantly) reading JN-25B and exchanging the "translations" with the British prior to Pearl Harbor.

    WARNINGS
Warnings do no harm and might do inexpressible good

    * 27 January 1941, Dr. Ricardo Shreiber, the Peruvian envoy in Tokyo told Max Bishop, third secretary of the US embassy that he had just learned from his intelligence sources that there was a war plan involving a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. This information was sent to the State Department and Naval Intelligence and to Admiral Kimmel at Hawaii.

    * 31 March 1941 - A Navy report by Bellinger and Martin predicted that if Japan made war on the US, they would strike Pearl Harbor without warning at dawn with aircraft from a maximum of 6 carriers. For years Navy planners had assumed that Japan, on the outbreak of war, would strike the American fleet wherever it was. The fleet was the only threat to Japan's plans. Logically, Japan couldn't engage in any major operation with the American fleet on its flank. The strategic options for the Japanese were not unlimited.

    * 10 July - US Military Attache Smith-Hutton at Tokyo reported Japanese Navy secretly practicing aircraft torpedo attacks against capital ships in Ariake Bay. The bay closely resembles Pearl Harbor.

    * July - The US Military Attache in Mexico forwarded a report that the Japanese were constructing special small submarines for attacking the American fleet in Pearl Harbor, and that a training program then under way included towing them from Japan to positions off the Hawaiian Islands, where they practiced surfacing and submerging.

    * 10 August 1941, the top British agent, code named "Tricycle", Dusko Popov, told the FBI of the planned attack on Pearl Harbor and that it would be soon. The FBI told him that his information was "too precise, too complete to be believed. The questionnaire plus the other information you brought spell out in detail exactly where, when, how, and by whom we are to be attacked. If anything, it sounds like a trap." He also reported that a senior Japanese naval person had gone to Taranto to collect all secret data on the attack there and that it was of utmost importance to them. The info was given to Naval IQ.

    * Early in the Fall, Kilsoo Haan, an agent for the Sino-Korean People's League, told Eric Severeid of CBS that the Korean underground in Korea and Japan had positive proof that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor before Christmas. Among other things, one Korean had actually seen the plans. In late October, Haan finally convinced US Senator Guy Gillette that the Japanese were planning to attack in December or January. Gillette alerted the State Department, Army and Navy Intelligence and FDR personally.

    * 24 September 1941, the " bomb plot" message in J-19 code from Japan Naval Intelligence to Japan' s consul general in Honolulu requesting grid of exact locations of ships pinpointed for the benefit of bombardiers and torpedo pilots was deciphered. There was no reason to know the EXACT location of ships in harbor, unless to attack them - it was a dead giveaway. Chief of War Plans Turner and Chief of Naval Operations Stark repeatedly kept it and warnings based on it prepared by Safford and others from being passed to Hawaii. The chief of Naval Intelligence Captain Kirk was replaced because he insisted on warning HI. It was lack of information like this that lead to the exoneration of the Hawaii commanders and the blaming of Washington for unpreparedness for the attack by the Army Board and Navy Court. At no time did the Japanese ever ask for a similar bomb plot for any other American military installation. Why the Roosevelt administration allowed flagrant Japanese spying on PH has never been explained, but they blocked 2 Congressional investigations in the fall of 1941 to allow it to continue. The bomb plots were addressed to "Chief of 3rd Bureau, Naval General Staff", marked Secret Intelligence message, and given special serial numbers, so their significance couldn't be missed. There were about 95 ships in port.

Very interesting reading, but I would caution you on relying on a single source to your studies. Do in depth searching on Pearl Harbour, read as many viewpoints as you can. It's easy to find a single source slanted in one direction.

I thought I'd add to the discussion by including some interesting information I just read from a biography of Erwin Rommel, who was a famous German general in World War II.

Many people will tell you that Rommel lost the battle of Africa for a number of key strategic reasons, mainly:
    - His supply lines were overstretched, and they were under constant attack
    - The British committed to a rapid and huge build-up in Egypt to stop him. Hitler, preoccupied by Russia, only ever committed a token force to Africa. By sheer math, Rommel was bound to lose. That he lost later rather than sooner is testiment to his brilliant battlefield command.

What is NOT well known, however, is just how in control of the whole outcome the British were. By the middle of the battle, somewhere in 1942, the British had completely solved the German Enigma codes. What really sank the Germans was that they never discovered the truth until after the war.

That means for the last half of the war, the Germans were broadcasting EVERYTHING - battle tactics, ship movements, aircraft intercepts, EVERYTHING - directly to the British Intelligence service.

This was why the Germans suddenly started losing so many U-boats in the Atlantic. It wasn't that the aircraft had suddenly gotten more powerful, that was only half the answer. The Germans, secure in their belief that their code machine was foolproof, were happily broadcasting their exact locations to Germany, and to Britain. So the aircraft knew EXACTLY where to hunt for the submarines.

In the African campaign, the situation was ludicrous. Rommel would transmit detailed requests for supplies to Germany and Italy. Within 24 hours, the decoded transcripts were on his enemy's desk (Field Marshall Montgomery) in Africa! Monty would be able to read things like:
    - How much ammunition Rommel had left
    - How many working tanks he had
    - How much fuel he had
    - His rough ideas of what Monty was up to
    - His own ideas of what to do
    - His supply orders for the coming weeks, in full detail, down to the rifle bullet!

A typical week might go as follows:
    - Monday, Rommel transmits to Berlin that he has only 60 tanks left, he is critically low on fuel, and he needs about 200 tons of food and about 1000 tank shells.
    - On Monday night, they decypher this in London.
    - On Tuesday, Berlin radios Rommel and tells him that the freighter Vittoreo is sailing from Italy with his requested supplies.
    - On Tuesday night, they decypher this in London.
    - On Wednesday morning, this is all transmitted to Monty.\
    - On Wednesday afternoon, 3 British submarines, lying in ambush off the coast of Africa, recieve battle orders to intercept an incoming ship, so many tons, heading so and so, speed so and so, based on arrival time given to Rommel.
    - On Thursday Rommel radios Berlin and tells them his situation is desperate, where is that freighter?
    - Berlin radios back and tells him it's had an engine problem, it will be delayed by a day.
    - By Friday the submarines are updated on the new information and adjust accordingly. They set up a perfect ambush and as the freighter comes within sight of the waiting docks in Africa, they torpedo it, blowing it sky high.

This happened AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, it is incredible how much shipping the British managed to destroy.

Their agents then planted rumours within Rommel's chain of command that there were traitorous Italians who were giving away information from the docks in Italy. Rommel believed all this, having fought the Italians in world war I and not liking them much. He cursed and swore about those treacherous Italians right to the end of the war, and largely blamed them for his defeat. But it was British Intelligence, always one step ahead. The ony reason Rommel achieved any victories at all after 1942 was because he was a legendary loose cannon. He'd receive orders from Berlin (which the British had decoded in hours and sent on to Monty) and he would tell them 'sure sure, ok' , and then COMPLETELY IGNORE the orders and do something totally opposite! The British would be caught off guard, expecting him to be following orders.

So in reality, some of Rommel's so called genius was nothing more than his hot-headedness about being told what to do by pencil pushers (or even Hitler) in Berlin and wanting to change things on the fly every hour of the battle (something his own commanders found just as infuriating as Hitler did). By circumventing orders, he was perhaps the only main German force that was partially immune to the Enigma leak.

Incidentally, the book maintains (corroberated by inteviews with his surviving son and many other ex German officers) that Rommel was in fact a very proud and dedicated member of the Nazi regime, and followed Hitler's overall goals till the very end. He was implicated in the assassination attempt on Hitler by some of his own staff to save their own hides. He was apparently harbouring some sort of half-baked idea about contacting the Allied forces after D-Day and letting them pass through his lines so that the war would not end with the Russians in control of Berlin, and perhaps Germany could join the Allies on a mutual attack of Russia, but he never did act on this (and that is good, because we would have laughed in his face, or at least double-crossed him). His own Generals would complain how hypnotized by Hitler he was when he returned from Berlin, ready to follow his leader to the death.

That is interesting as well Sgt., but let us dwell on which allied corporations supplied what to the third reich. Why do you suppose that "catch 22" was banned? Let us try to figure out who has been profiting from the wars and would therefore have a motive for starting them.

I think a point that is lost on a lot of people is just how 'unpatriotic' a Corporation really is.

Think of a Corporation as an unholy demonic entity, obsessed with one thing only - PROFIT, and you have a pretty good idea what they really are.

For example, let's take an American corporation that makes F-16 fighter planes.

Now, the Corporation itself could not give a flying eff who buys their planes and what they use them for. To them, those planes are units, to be sold, for as much profit as possible.

Now, the State Department might have other ideas. So they would meet with the company, and they would make a deal. They would tell them, 'Ok, we will buy 500 new F-16's this year, and give you tax break x, y and z, if you agree to not sell your planes to Axis of Evil countries. The Corporation says, 'Oh yes! We are SO patriotic! We salute the flag and worship the president and no no no! We won't sell planes to bad people!'

But the reality is that they have made a deal. They agree to the patriotic rules in exchange for incentives.

They will try to weasel any way they can to sell the planes anyway, through a third party.

This problem has existed since the unholy rites summoned the Corporation from the depths of hell. Their only purpose is to make money.

This is why we find back room deals going on all through world war II between US corporations and Nazi Germany. Other countries were doing it as well. The Swiss were happily helping the Nazis sieze Jewish bank accounts, ect.. ect.. during the embargo of Iraq, the biggest purchaser of Iraq oil was the United States, with some lazy slipshod rules, intended for media headlines, that the money being paid to Saddam Hussein should go towards food. A German corporation built Saddam Hussein's bunker, and it survived multiple US airstrikes and saved him time and again. It was all a very laughable joke, intended to hide the obvious from the general public. Wars and countries come and go, but BUSINESS must roll on, outside of the rules of patriotism and morality.
