    Yup, same thing is happening here in BC. Good ol' Gordo lifted the moratorium on the hunt a few years ago, and things aren't likely to get any better.

    Also, considering wildlife tourism, i.e. Bear watching tours, generate more money than hunting you have to wonder what the motivation behind these decisions are.

    When you go into the bush, you miss seeing things like bear spoor and tracks. It just isn't the same if you know that you aren't the #1 predator in the woods. Something is missing.
