MacPhail called Campbell a liar and when she refused to retract her statement, Speaker of the Legislature Claude Richmond said he had no choice but to ask MacPhail to leave the legislative chamber.
Here\'s what happens when politicians lie, and someone attempts to reveal the lie! No wonder any good politician keeps their mouth shut, hopefully the masses will speak now that one sacrificial lamb has been tested?!
No. It is normal parlamentary procedure, if you call someone a liar and do not apologise, you are ejected until you do.

You can say they "misled", or they "played fast and loose with the truth", but if you use the word "lie", you're gone.

This is true through all Canada, and the UK.

Oh so maybe this statement was made on purpose, knowing that it would make the papers and that the people would finally hear the truth! As in if she\'d have said \'you are playing fast and loose with the facts\', nobody would have thought anything of it, as it happens all the time,... well I say good for her!
Well it shouldn\'t surprise anyone that province by province we are watching the sell out of this country, what they don\'t do federally each premier will do for them, especially those with American aspirations.
Well, Campbell did lie! It says a lot when politicians are so afraid of being called liars, which most of them are! I think that if you lie to the people, then both the public and members of parliament and provincial legislatures should be able to call it as it is!
