The Power of Transnational Corporations and the Harm They Cause
As corporations have grown in size they've gained in power and influence. And so has the harm they cause - to communities, nations, the great majority of the public and the planet. Today corporate giants decide who governs and how, who serves on our courts, what laws are enacted and even whether and when wars are fought, against whom and for what purpose or gain. It's for their gain, who else's, certainly not ours. Once we start one, they can even make profit projections from it like on any other business venture. Milton Friedman may shed crocodile tears, he was one of the main inventors and sellers of this crime wave with his theories. By the way, he's not a Nobel laureate, because there ain't no Nobel Prize for economics. What they fraudulently call Nobel Prize, is in reality the Bank of Sweden Prize, given out by a group of likeminded twerps, who sit around in a circle, like a bunch of dope addicts, giving shots to each other.
I agree with everything in this article, but it isn't touching, or going far enough, or after the real culprits. I've been writing for years that today's economists are nothing more than just another pseudo religious priesthood, sanctifying crime and murder.
E.g. So what if some obscure court decision in California, over 100 years ago, gave corporations supernatural rights?
What does this have to do with Canada, or any country on Earth ? Why do we have to accept it automatically and why haven't been there class action lawsuits against it? Where are all the anti cartel laws ? Why aren't they enforced?
I wish I had the money to start a lawsuit against the law, as unconstitutional, and against the governments for pimping for these crooks.
Dammit, I didn't win the 6-49 again, so it will have to wait till I do.!!!!!!!
