Ambrose said the Tory government will continue talking with other countries about reducing emissions, but added they too are concluding Kyoto can't be achieved.     Business and Government can not support any type of program that it can not control and exploit at a profit even if it is on the backs of the unfortunate many especially when it comes to new technology.

    Gotta love these second and third world countries, can we say cha-ching?

    The government cannot support Kyoto and support the tar sands at the same time don't ya know? There's just no possible way to outsource the tar sands!

    Kyoto was a sham from the beginning - its aim to lower the price of "dirty" fuels like coal and shale, which were then bought up. Now that the "right" people own these things, Kyoto is being scrapped.

    Nice and tidy.
