Congressman Makes Genocidal Comments

Posted on Monday, March 07 at 14:00 by Kevin Parkinson
The silence from the “official” sources is deafening. The suggestion that a country of 15 million people be “nuked” is an invitation to commit genocide, to commit another Holocaust. So, why have organizations like the Anti-Defamation League not condemned the comments of Johnson and asked for his resignation? In Canada, such a comment would undoubtedly fall under the “Hate Crime” category, particularly if such a comment were made about “nuking” Israel. The Anti-Defamation League would put enormous pressure on our government to imprison such an individual. Why is the League silent now? Why do we have a double standard? How can a representative of the American government make a genocidal statement about an Arab nation, and then claim it was a joke? This is no joke. This statement and the government’s refusal to condemn it, are a sad, tragic commentary on the United States’ priorities, and unfortunately, another signal that Syria is definitely being targeted for attack. Israel and the United States must not attack Syria in another pre-emptive war. How can these countries be brought to their senses? Before it’s too late.

When I heard that I had to do a double take to affirm that he made the statement to a church congregation! What kind of holy places do these people attend?
