There are about 200 Ottawa-based companies that currently do business with the U.S. military, according to records, and at least 600 working with the Department of National Defence. Yet the potential of Ottawa's defence and security sector has barely been tapped, said Tim Page, president of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries.
