3 Blind Mice II: David Vs. Goliath

At least take a look at the cap website and policies at www.canadianactionparty.ca or at this temporary update site: [click here].

Unfortunately, the CAP website has not been updated for months because CAP can't find anyone with the technical skills to take it over, handle the .asp files, etc. A good Webmeister would be a start! Know anyone? (Kevin, if you read this, can you do this?) It would have to be on a volunteer basis, at least for the time being. But the website could be a rallying and information point- particularly if it were set up like vivelecanada!

CAP is currently having difficulties precisely because people won't join it 'because it's too small'. This is very sad. CAP may be a tiny ray of healthy light amidst a wash of greed and fear- a ray which, with your help, could grow larger...So join it and make it larger! It'll cost you $10 for membership. For that you'll also get a 78 min. VCD "The Canadian Action Party: Policies and Perspectives". What've you got to lose?

There seems an inability or even an obstinancy of sorts around the idea of building up a NEW party (CAP was formed in 1997). The cattlemen of Canada are considering ways to build up a beef industry NOT dependent on the American market. The key word is 'build'. -Perhaps we should take our queue from them.

The vast majority of Canadians are not being represented by the Three Bind Mice (Martin, Manly, and McLellan) who represent Goliath. As citizens, and activists we can educate, we can advocate, but we cannot legislate! Only a federal party can do so. If we build it, others will come...

I love you johr, but the reason I think it is too small is that the media can play hardball and shut CAP out. CAP wasn't even allowed to debate at many meetings.

The NDP even has a tough time getting attention and they are not a new party anymore....Orchard mentioned how "Canadians vote a party out, not in". With this being the case, I don't see how CAP can be an option right now, and we need an option sooner rather than later. Can anyone refute this?
