NATO Chief Rejects Claim Canada Bears Afghan Burden

He noted that a Spanish soldier was killed on Wednesday when a convoy of ambulances was attacked in western Afghanistan, and two British marines were killed in separate incidents Wednesday and Thursday. "In the south, where the situation is tough, where there is fighting from time to time, I say again this is a collective effort."     I have never approved of our military being in Afghanistan but for someone to start whining our way out of this mess rather than admit we will never be able to succeed in making another country in our own image (and why would we want to?) would be the honest and forthright approach to leaving Afghanistan.
