And that was followed by an equally stubborn stance from North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven. Yes, looks like a fine mess we're into with the Peace Garden State. Hey, the Peace Garden. Remember that special place south of Boissevain and north of Dunseith? Maybe our politicians should. http://www.winnipegsun.com/Comment/Editorial/2007/06/17/pf-4266956.html

The US wants our water (so it is rumoured). So why don't they divert Deveil's Lake water SOUTH? Also, they should be grateful for the elevated road Manitoba built, to keep all that Yankee water sout of the border...........

Aside from the 'we should be a good neighbor and allow them to contaminate
our water' what is this from the article 'He's dropping a $10-million flood relief
    offer.' all about?

Is this statement saying that Manitoba is/was offering a $10 million flood relief
    to a
foreign state? Why? Has Manitoba got a surplus of funds? Anybody know
    anything about this?

The U.S. doesn't care what Canada and Canadians feel or think so lets stand our ground and demand justice and a level playing field. No more American smoke and mirrors defend Canadian sovereignty.
