Vive Downtime, Nov 25 - Resolved

No, the vivelecanada server wasn't hacked. Last night, our servers were moved to a new location with better cooling, power, and security, which should lead to improved reliability overall. The server that vive normally runs on is having network issues (most likely caused by an improperly plugged-in network cable). I have brought the site back up on another server until I can get to the colocation facility to sort out the problem. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    If CSIS is involved, I am amazed at their powers of disguise, making themselves look like a milk crate or a spool of cable.

    It was the cables. They weren't stock cables. CSIS replaced them with ones that sent all data back to them.

    Oh, gotta go, the voices are telling me to shovel the driveway.

    I couldn't get on board last week for a period of less then twelve hours. At least I have my pipe but I may have to take up drinking as well. Every person should have at least two vices.

    Yer right, of course! Their "antics" are pretty funny. But at least Maxwell Smart solved a few things. Would be nice to say the same of "our boys in......mufti"

    Sorry all, there does appear to be one side effect of the upgrade.

    It's not allowinng me to post stories. Once Jesse gets this resolved, we'll be fully back in business.

    Damn CSIS. Can't they get their eavesdropping right?
