But Suzuki blasted federal leaders for ignoring what he called two decades of warnings on climate change.
"If our so-called leaders ignore the warnings, I would think that this is a crime against future generations and I'm wondering if there's a legal basis for taking action against people who run corporations or who run government, for their inaction on global warming," Suzuki told reporters Thursday before making a speech to the Quebec Bar Association.

Said John Howard, Australian PM, in 2006:<br />
"The idea that we can address climate change matters successfully at the expense of economic growth is not only unrealistic but it also unacceptable to the population of Australia which I represent"<br />
<br />
And in the meantime:<br />

"Canadians are ready to pay a little extra to help deal with climate change, David Suzuki said Friday before a meeting with the federal environment minister."<br />

Hmmm! Pay a little extra, and use a little less, and it should about even out? Why do I have a nagging doubt......? <br />
And why for heaven's sake, must our conservative government search around the world to avoid presenting an original idea????<p>---<br>"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." <br />

Too bad you never posted the following from it:
"Veteran meteorologist Bill Kinimonth insists the gradual warming of the earth is part of a natural cycle: "The climate follows patterns which we can read back from our instrument records for about 150 years, and from a lot of the proxy records they go back thousands of years.
"The ice cores show the fluctuations of the climate over 100,000-year cycles." "
Or the fact that Australia has had decades long droughts before.
I guess that didn't agree with your agenda of panic before factual statements, or differing opinions.

The two most common things in the universe are apparently Hydrogen and stupidity.
All I know is that it's scaring right-wing conservative Australians into action on the environment, like that neo-conn bastard John Howard, who is finally keeping his bloody mouth shut and hopefully will soon be on the scrap heap of political history.
For once the MSM is working FOR us! Pump the hype! Pump the hysteria! People just might get off the couch and CHANGE things!
I'm with Al Gore. Scare people NOW so that we have a chance of stopping the damage before absolute collapse.

“The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous, the essential act of warfare is the destruction of the produce of human labour”
You mean LIE to people now! Do you really think it's a good idea to use the exact same scams used to frighten the masses into accepting and even demanding war?
Hell, let's see if we can create a fake drought and blame it on CO2? How about killing thousands to make the point by secretly draining out water supplies?
What's next, making it against that law to "deny" the Global Warming Holocaust? Not so far fetched, after Suzuki's speech.
If we have to make up bullshit to scare people into submission as the only means to "save the world", then we may as well just blow it up right here and now and be done with it.
The MSM never works for us, it works for profit alone, and that can never be a good thing for us.
What if "global warming" IS the result of natural processes and not as a result of anything mankind has done?
If you would still go along with the hype, then by all means allow others to do your thinking for you.
The NWO boys love sheople like that.

The two most common things in the universe are apparently Hydrogen and stupidity.
If I were to be convinced that human induced global warming is a lie intended to deceive the public, for obviously some dark and evil purpose,
Then, apart from doing my best to spread the word,
I wouldn't change a thing that I am currently doing in my own life.
Why? Because the deception is clearly intended to set us up for a new period of much heavier taxation, control and lack of access to energy supplies, and everything I am doing now is intended to reduce my dependence on these things.
I am not going to sit at home paying outrageous heating bills, and driving my car for $3 litre, no matter what the source or real truth of the message.
NOW.
Right back at you.
How would you react if you were shown and convinced that most of the 'experts' you are quoting are paid off interests working for the oil and gas industry, and that there is a concerted effort in western governments and major corporations to suppress global warming data and promote confusion and argument over it in the media (and by extension here on this board)?
