I don't really care, to tell you the truth. Either it's a big coincidence that extreme drought as predicted by climatologists as a result of global warming is happening, or it's part of a natural cycle.

All I know is that it's scaring right-wing conservative Australians into action on the environment, like that neo-conn bastard John Howard, who is finally keeping his bloody mouth shut and hopefully will soon be on the scrap heap of political history.

Considering it's the first intelligent thing you've asked me in a month, how could it possibly piss me off? I consider it a welcome breath of fresh air in a debate that has become far too heated for my own liking.

If I were to be convinced that human induced global warming is a lie intended to deceive the public, for obviously some dark and evil purpose,

Then, apart from doing my best to spread the word,

I wouldn't change a thing that I am currently doing in my own life.

Why? Because the deception is clearly intended to set us up for a new period of much heavier taxation, control and lack of access to energy supplies, and everything I am doing now is intended to reduce my dependence on these things.

I am not going to sit at home paying outrageous heating bills, and driving my car for $3 litre, no matter what the source or real truth of the message.

How would you react if you were shown and convinced that most of the 'experts' you are quoting are paid off interests working for the oil and gas industry, and that there is a concerted effort in western governments and major corporations to suppress global warming data and promote confusion and argument over it in the media (and by extension here on this board)?
