Where Have All The Environmentalists Gone?

Posted on Tuesday, March 15 at 12:50 by John Tiller
Climate change experts can guarantee that if we return to stone age technology we may, I say may, make up to 1 degree centigrade difference. And those are the optimists. This treaty was the brainchild of former energy trader and oilman Maurice Strong who tried to steal and then sell the people of Colorado their own underground water supply. This billionaire is head of the globalization efforts of the UN. If this looks like the free trade treaties with a different title, it is. This is how they get lefties to buy into free trade and globalization. The Russian scientists wrote one of the most damning scientific report on global warming/ climate change that seemed to scuttle whatever was left of this theory only to see Putin being bribed with World Trade Organization membership if he signed on. The WTO president, as well as Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, and UN head Kofi Annan, are protégés of Mr. Strong. According to the Russian scientists Canada was the only country to sign-on who would suffer from generation to generation. The deal lets you pay to pollute. Russia can sell Canada indulgences or credits, China and India can sell Canada indulgences or credits, Germany and Europe can sell Canada indulgences or credits. In fact, these major polluters (you can see the Brown Cloud of Asia from space) and their selling of indulgences will allow comparatively clean countries to pollute in good faith. China already has a similar scheme in place. Companies are given a choice. Pay a fee or install scrubbers and other antipollution devices. Significantly most all pay up and continue to spew their poison. On the other hand there are efforts going on that try to deal with what are virtual scientific certainties. Our waterways are cleaner. Cars emit far less pollution than even 25 years ago. Even the coal industry has cleaned up the rivers they almost destroyed and have invested in technology which has helped the air coming from the world's smokestacks. Now we seem willing to give this up for a very expensive piece of fluff. We can blame George Bush for the weather now. Forget the poison particulates in everything you eat, drink, and breathe. Forget the heavy metals in whatever you're drinking, the animal waste in your reservoirs, that you can die from E. coli, a bacteria of animal intestines, from eating an onion, and that mother's milk is a very efficient delivery system for a host of environmental problems. Forget anything that you might be able to improve upon. While our environmentalists have been high-fiving each other over a successful campaign and another stunning turn-around by Paul Martin, they do not mention this fact. Canada has increased the amount of particulates it releases to the winds and currents of the world since 1995. The US has cut theirs. But we signed the Kyoto Accords. Perchlorate, a primary ingredient of solid rocket fuel, is found widespread in mother’s milk in the US. Perchlorate causes neurological defects that result in lower IQ or learning disabilities and abnormal behavior. Does anyone want to bet that perchlorate is not widespread in Canada too? No matter how widespread, it will just have to wait its turn to get fixed. Maybe mother’s can just take iodine and their milk will not be so toxic - maybe. Maybe we can get to it after we buy some indulgences from the European Union - maybe. It just might work but I wouldn’t want to be those babies if it didn’t. Not even if it was a couple of degrees warmer outside.

What evidence do you have to back up your claim that the US has reduced the particulate matter in their air. What evidence do you have for any of the claims you have made in your article, like cleaner rivers, cleaner coal operations, etc. If any environmentalists have been exchanging high fives it is not due to any environmental good news because there hasn't been any.

Yes please advise as to your sources and evidence.

I somehow missed this article. I'd like to high-five you Milton about the lack of good news response. Exactly.
