Bush Can Now Justify Any War Crime

Posted on Wednesday, October 18 at 12:16 by BC Mary
Bush also claimed that the military commissions which are the centerpiece of the bill “will provide a fair trial, in which the accused are presumed innocent, have access to an attorney, and can hear all the evidence against them.” These claims are a mixture of half-truths and outright lies. * The trials will be patently unfair, permitting evidence extracted by torture as well as hearsay testimony. * The accused are not really presumed innocent, since all defendants will have the status of “unlawful enemy combatants,” making them presumptively guilty of taking up arms against the United States. http://www.wsws.org/articles/2006/oct2006/comm-o18.shtml [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on October 19, 2006]

There will be a time when other countries will be condoned for using "American Standards". Those countries may practice these standards on Americans themselves. Unfortunatly, the Americans having to face torture and loss of rights, will be those at the bottom of the Totem pole. Bush is not concerned, for he and his cronies will always be in a safe haven. He will never be punished nor repent. Human garbage believing he is a god.

It can only be by a richer nation(s). The stranglehold the USA has on the world could mean even worse suffering for the rest. The US has insured that many are reliant upon them. Those nations would fight on behalf of the US just to exist themselves. Those dependent on the US pecuniary aid would suffer from finacial collapse of the USA. Americans have been busy enveloping nations and too late for most, to be freed.

It is horrible but you guys don't forget that US attacking Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. So, the ratio is more like 654,965 Iraqis + # US soldiers killed:0

Not just people who attack the U.S. but those many who hadn't. Afghani & Iraqi, for example. Neither had ever attacked the US but still under attack from American invasions. Soon Iranians and North Koreans and those people never attacked the USA either. Luckily for the USA is their ability to label anyone a terrorists after they themselves have attacked first.
