That's incredible but not rare. The capitalist system that spends huge amounts of money on a military, would not do so without gain. It's all fine and dandy to convince the American population that these endless scuffles are to protect them from whatever foe, but in reality it's always about making money. ALWAYS about money. The whole concept about having allies, is to reduce the overhead in these wars. The less the American government has to spend on using their troops and at their expense, is to reduce costs. Now we see that having their own troops at war can be profitable as well. No wonder Bush is so anxious to get more of his lads over there. Think of all the dirty laundry!
