Minority Power

Posted on Thursday, February 15 at 12:27 by Dave Ruston
So now I once again have to beat to death this pet peeve I have. Why don`t we all, or as many of us as possible, contact our MPs, and force the government into ratifying the Romanow Report? Lately we`ve been hearing about how minimum wage is not a liveable wage (and it isn`t) and we`ve been grappling with how to deal with poverty. Well surely, privatization of health care won`t help! So, any takers? Given the last country-wide student protest denouncing insane tuition fees, I know we Canadians have it in us! Let`s put the government to work!

Harper jumped on the green rhetoric bandwagon. Likewise, Campbell jumped alongside him. So what are they up to, 'cause we know ain't none of them are actually green.....?<p>---<br>"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." <br />

Harper had no choice and goes on to say there are no guidelines or money structure for the plan. In other words he will accept the plan but apply his own rules to it. Accepted as "words Only" Like "Quebeec is a nation within a nation".

Good to know you're still out there working Dave, I've missed your voice.

It seems rather ironic to me that Harper has been raised to the Prime Misterial position of a great country and yet he will NEVER amount to anything.

All we're hearing about the medical system anymore is how horrific it has become. Niggling letters to our MPs to revisit that subject is a good idea.

My political memory only goes back as far as Trudeau and I do believe he did stand up for Canada and Canadians. That was the very thing that was his saving grace as far as I was concerned.

"Tories" aren't the only Canadians that will have to live up to Kyoto (or any other GHG/environmental)commitments made by our government - we all will.

You can pretty much say that about any leader (a/k/a
corporate patsy) out there, not only the Canadian ones.
Maybe, just maybe, he will be remembered for his novel
    second grade style haircut.
