Even though some of the strongest opponents to deep integration are prominent Conservatives, I also fear that their involvement both discredits opposition to deep integration and puts the focus in the wrong place.
It's an issue Vive struggles with constantly, trying to decline or avoid partnering with the organizations who oppose SPP purely out of fear and hatred and a race-based view of what nationalism means.

There are some fibers of truth for veracity, much speculation as fair-warning, a healthy or perhaps unhealthy percent of select vision of only white hate some (un-)common sense and certainly much to think about.
Using a word I loathe and finding no other as suitable at the moment I must say ”IF” humanity is to prosper in the truest sense of the word it/they must begin to acknowledge that governments are not representative of the individual thoughts , feelings and hearts of those they claim to represent.
Once the truth of Individual Sovereignty is well established, perhaps then national sovereignty can be contemplated and then pursued.
The fault is NOT government per se, the fault resides in those who either lack knowledge, or will. to stand as Sovereigns in their own right, while behaving as sovereigns ought; with dignity ,grace and humanity for other sovereigns. This will require a paradigm shift in thinking that, to-date, is un-common.

Vive opposes the NAU. The philosophy of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' can apply, but to what extent? Is that the only goal in the fight, or do we look at the broader views of our partners and see if all their values fit in with ours?
Recently we had some articles from the Mexican point of view. Strangely enough, they thought it was a natural resource grab by the US as well. Bad for Mexico, Bad for Canada and bad for the US. I can see how some would take that as anti-American. The rest are on their 'meds'.
