http://www.acumentrics.com/products-power-generators.htm And, a twofer special: Biogas-Powered Fuel Cell System Wins Big, Crowd Goes Wild by Jeremy Elton Jacquot, Los Angeles on 06. 1.07 Science & Technology Acumentrics, which specializes in the manufacturing of solid oxide fuel cell systems (SOFC) for power applications, won the 2007 New England Innovation Award from SBANE, the Small Business Alliance of New England, for its innovations in ceramic fuel cell technology. Instead of molding it into the shape of a thin sheet, as do most other fuel cell manufacturers, the scientists at Acumentrics did it in the shape of a tube, which renders the fuel cells shatter resistant. This property allows the SOFCs to handle temperature swings from 20 to 800ºC quite effectively, unlike most other companies' models which break when they are cycled on and off due to thermal shock. http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/06/biogas-powered_fuel_system.php [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on June 4, 2007]

<blockquote> I'm pretty certain the underground dope growing industry ain't spending that kind of jack to light up their 50 and 100 1000 wat shows </blockquote>Evidently, they can make their investment back and a profit when they have a new house constructed for a grow op. That's a $500 grand outlay. $175,000 ought to be do-able......... <p>But this fuel cell is a step in the right direction. And that step is to take power generation away from the megaproject interests, and put it in the hands of the you's and me's of the world.</p> <p>---<br>"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." <br />

In the hands of the yous and mes...yeah right. Not till our filthy, fucked up government pigs have a chance to exploit it and find a spot for a coin slot to get their "fair: share.
Any new technology for "you and me" will be have an attachment. A big fat coinslot to suck the life out of everyone. The corporations that suply power will never let new technology out to the general public without crying to the fucking pigs in power to tax the piss out of it and give give them a huge subsidy.
I have two words for this damn wcountry, oink, bah fuck you! oops 4 words.
